Struggling with heat/low humidity air flow issue

I don't even know if you can buy those like that over there. Probably not much call for them. We only use them in the arid parts of the country.

The swamp cooler would not be very stealthy though lol. You are definitely best following @coreywebster 's advice. He has way more experience with the attic grows that I do. I would imagine if you get the air exchange numbers up the humidity numbers will go up and the temps down. Run lights primarily at night. Finding holes to move air through is the key.

@coreywebster what about a modified window ac in the room?

Also what equation did you use to get the 4250 figure? I like to learn these things for the future cheers pal
AC is so uncommon in UK so its something I know little about mate. Might be a good idea to start another thread with " best ac" in the title , lots of guys are experts with AC on here. You don't want to be buying one that's not fit for the job or ejects stink out with the heat.

The equation I use is

cfm = 3.16x watts / dt

where dt is the temp diff from ambient , so if you have say 5 degrees f desired temp rise

its 3.16 x 3600 divided by 5 which gives you the cfm (without duct and filter loss)
then just convert cfm to m3ph and add 20%

Its a calculation used in cooling computers and server rooms but can be applied to anything with heat and airflow.

Same set up, loft build.
Using intakes from my kitchen right above gas cooker. And one in the boiler room.

Ducting joins them together in loft and using intake hyper fan 6" to connect to two tents 4x2, carbon filter then 8 hyper fan exhaust.
Lots of mini fans and a bigger one on roof to keep lights super cool. Using an oil radiator to keep temps steady.

How many Watts are you running? How do you duct up from the kitchen?

Running 100watts in one tent and can run 400w in the other, on average 300w in tent 2. Leds.

Long ducting slim in kitchen up through spare room(small box wall to cover it) then loft.
Boiler room straight 6" to loft.

Fans are ancient. Like to cut down on electric bill so when for hyper fans, Okay. Noisy but don't need silent ones.

Need upgrading but if it's not broke .. so to say.

If you want to increase the humidity try those misters in a bucket of water. Can usually get them off amazon/ebay fairly cheap. As for temps more oscilating fans and a bigger out take should do it

I am growing in a hot attic it measures around 4mx2.5mx2.5m (lxwxh)

I am running 6x630w cmh lights

Passive intakes

8inch isomax fan

Temps getting up to 36 degrees

Humidity is like 10 degrees

I am wondering do I buy a 10 inch high power isomax 2430cmh will this solve my problem? (I would also put in two misters on a controller)

Any help is very appreciated

Thanks

Why not add an intake fan your passive intake might not be enough air flow so the fan is just spinning. Seems like you need more air flow in. Also you didn't say what your outside temperature is. Can't get colder then the air your pulling from. You can add a humidifier and it will lower the temperature a bit as hot air holds more moisture.

Iv got it below 30degrees believe it just took the ac a little time to settle in the outside temps are about 27-28 in the day at the moment, got an air cooler and a fan controller to get the humidity up and have the old 8inch outtake just scrubbing in the room
