Studying while high?

Been studying sober, and put the time in to read the textbook.
It's a two books of welding codes.
1200 ish pages.
Most boring read of my life.
But I know it, somewhat.

Thanks for the recommendation to read all the material.
It is helping in class this week.

I do structural steel.
We put up malls and warehouses.
That kinda industrial buildings.
I started off building concrete factories and welding in shops
Then got into the install side of it.
Now I mostly do misc, like canopies, stair sets, railings, basically all the tedious stuff.
I've got my B level,
Pipe ticket for stick,
Wire feed,
All the basic stuff to get me in the door.
You all know "something to fall back on"
Plan b.

Be real guy. Short term memory is affected. You're spending all that money and effort on something why would you risk it? That's the difference between the people who make it and don't. The people who don't are always coming up with excuses to do what they know is stupid. Important shit is meant to be hard. Man up.

I used to smoke all day long, before work, during lunch and then all evening. It made me lazy with work so I quit smoking til after work. I moved and quit my job to grow weed in a legal state. I still don't smoke on a lot of days til after 4, because shit that needs to get done might not if I start out the day smoking.

So for me I wouldn't get any studying done if I smoked in the morning I'd find a reason to push it off til later and then the night before and morning of the test I'd be trying to cram in the info. That's how college went and I mean I graduated but it wasn't ideal.

I'd just wait til your done studying for the day and then smoke.

I started getting good while sober. I do meh when I study stoned.

I put myself to a test at the cost of a class to see if getting stoned affected me.

The results were a failure of data analysis the first year and an overwhelming success in ecology and law.

Sober Monday was ecology and law, taco day was data analysis.

Just some anecdotal evidence
