outdoor grow just under 8 weeks, P1010008.jpgP1010002.jpgP1010004.jpgP1010005.jpgthese first 4 are from about 2 weeks ago. My ph was at about 5.9. So i bought some dolomite lime and watered 3/4 of a cup into my 7 gallon pots, also watered some organic nutes http://www.naturesafe.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/06/8-3-5ProductInfo.pdf That was about 7 days ago. Gave them a weak foliar feed about 2 days after that, just because the organics take about 7-10 days to activate. A couple days ago. I watered them with only water phed at 6.5 the runoff off of the water was 6.2 for 1st plant 6.5 for 2nd and 6.7 for third, so it seems my ph is back in check. So these are the same plants fromm today. Doesnt seem like they are getting any better. Ive lost first 3 sets of fan leaves, and since those fan leaves came off the first set of leaves on that node are yellowing outP1010005.jpgP1010004.jpgP1010003.jpgP1010011.jpgP1010012.jpgP1010010.jpg. also seeing some brown spots. Should these leaves be coming back, or are they hopeless and should i be watching for more leaves to start to die? they still seem like all new growth is going good.P1010002.jpgP1010001.jpgP1010006.jpgP1010007.jpg

maybe i am just being too cautious, but i dont wanna lose these . all 3 were bag seed and all three turned out to be female. all help is appreciated.

They look hungry to me. Maybe the organics haven't broken down enough to give them a good feed. I would give them some manure tea with a little epsom salts in it, and if I freak out too much, I just throw on some more worm castings.

I added some dolomite lime, so i assume that would take care of mag def no? maybe just slow to take affect

They are hungry because you didnt put enough 'goodies' in the hole/pot prior to planting. Water in some N once a week and put some slow release N pellets on top.

I do have some organic fert called nature safe 8-3-5.http://www.naturesafe.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/06/8-3-5ProductInfo.pdf I expect that to start kicking in in the next 3-4 days, is it normal to have thiose brown spots on the leaves that are yellowed? is that just part of N def? the only thing that i find strange is when i test the ppm of the runoff, I am getting reading of 1200, 1400, and 1600 for each of the 3 plants. seems to me there is plenty of nutes in there. But i did read somewhere that different manufactures nutes will have different ppm reading. any truth to that?

Can't help you there, I don't get that technical with it. I just try to learn and read my plants. I have also learned to be sparing when adding nutes, especially in rapid succession. I have often been guilty of not waiting long enough to see effect before doing something else. It can become a vicious cycle until you learn patience....which I am not the best at! Adding the epsom salts could do no harm. Do that and wait a couple more days. Keep in mind that the damaged leaves aren't going to improve. Look for healthy new growth.

The brown spots are what made me think that it was a mag deficency.. BUDS is reputable though, so they might need some ferts.. and some CalMAg as well.. the dolomite should have taken care of it though.. Give them a good feeding and see if it cures up

Patience is not my best attribute, but I have gotten better. New growth seems to be better at this point, for the last week or so all new growth on the top was bunched up together. it seemed like it was having a hard time stretching out. But just in the past day or so all that growth is spreading out now. I will add some espom salt tomorrow. i will probably just cut the 1 tbsp per gallon down to 1/4 tbsp for a quart seeing as i just watered yesterday. do you think the fan leaves that just started showing signs will recover? Is it just the fan leaves that are yellowed out that will die?

Dude sometimes a few leaves turn yellow and fall off, no big deal most of the time. Like I said its just a little hungry. Feed the bitch and she'll be fine.

if it was only a few leaves i wouldnt even worry, but I have lost 4 main fan leaves on 2 of the 3 and the next set are on their way out. at least they were 3 bag seed that all turned out to be female. I dont know how thats possible, but Im not complaining. Also have a fem nemesis and a fem super haze that are doing nicely. Actually 4 days ago was the first shot of nutes they got, besides a little super thrive early on and some panasea plus 0-2-2 http://www.lebanonturf.com/products/items/3118802/print.aspx you can see them in pics 11 and 12 they are about 6 weeks old.
