Check Phlizon lights. I’m running one and it’s been great. Very affordable.
Ok i will ..been scrolling and I found 75 watt 950LM 130V 1710 sunbeam bulbs real cheap also they are warm white I think ..is that bulb good to grow with ? 75 watts is a decent outpit for a bulb

All together i have around 200 watts of grow lights rn ... if I find better bulbs I can definitely hit 350 400 watts also whats better to judge my light output by? lumens or watts?but what do you think of the sunbeam bulbs I mentioned ?

Ok so I have a bulb thats 15 watts and 2700k 1600 lumens and I have a bulb thats 75 watts 2700k 950 lumens what is the best choice to use ?
wait, what you want to look for is lumen per watt, watt itself is a senseless measure.
its very easy.
take the lamp with the higher lumen rating.

your 15W 1600lm have 106 lumen per watt.
your 75W 950lm have 12 lumen per watt, btw is it a LED light ?? worst ive ever seen.

of course watt and lumen are related but if the lamp is that bad, like 12 lm/W and giving you just 950 lumen instead of 1600, you should clearly take the 1600lm and ingnore stated wattage.

Roger that I was thinking the same thing. The 75w bulbs should hold me til I can get a real light
This is what I use just for seedlings and veg till it out grows it. I had a old hps hood that I took the ballast out of so I could use the big base and reflector. It works good but it's an 80$ bulb. You might could find cheaper online I just got what was available at the electric supply store. 20211010_012832.jpg20211010_012924.jpg

Ok i see so lumens over watts? Thats what I want to know. I have 1600/1800 lumen LED BULBS bout 7 to 9 watts but I also have a few cfl twist lights but no lumen reading ??

Nice bro that just looks expensive af lol. Ya know I have a few 6 or 7watt bulbs that have those yellow squares or chips in them ?? Does that mean Those bulbs with the square yellow chips are better bulbs ?

No the 75 watt is not LED. It literally was sold as a grow light with a blue tint.

Well I have minimal experience,so I started with 3 from the middle of the plant to bottom of plant. 1 died too small I think the other 2 doing great but a clear gel formed so I removed it rinsed it and cut off affected parts and just placed directly in soil in a coffee filter and dipp it 3 to 4 times a day. I don't expect them to survive so I just need advice on how to increase my root speed and root rate for the new clones I'll be doing very soon ???
You need a humidity dome of some sort. I dip them in rooting gel/powder, plant in soil, then put them in an old aquarium I have with a fully closed lid, prop them up and have a bit of water in the bottom. They take about a week to develop roots and then I move them. High humidity is key 20210707_114559.jpg

the 75W "grow light" is a normal light bulb tech with a filter.
had been my first grow light too in the 90s.
i remember these as quite useless, really not good.
would explain the 12 lumen per watt also.

the CFLs arent great either, best are your led bulbs.
see how much lumen they put out and go after this, its straight forward.
