wondering how u fight PM ? at this size plants rh 55-60 is best and safest, 70 good for clones but not 8 week veg , at this stage the should be drinking a lot no need for high humidity
I don’t really ever have to fight it. I foliar spray with growers ally. Obviously temp and humidity parameters this high worries some people. But if you know the strain and your room is suuuuuper clean, it’s easily avoided. I defoliate and check the plants constantly. Air circulation is massive. And you have to follow the vpd chart. It’s no use having 70rh if your temp is only 24’c. It won’t work and you will have problems like pm. You have to follow the vpd chart.
There is way more to it than I know about and a lot more than I can write here, it took me a year of research before I implemented this technique. It’s all about the leaf pressure being optimal as this is what dictates the transpiration rate. Most people grow and their number one concern is the air around the plant and they pay no attention to the actual plant.

I do admit I run it slightly higher than a lot of people and u are right the safest spot for late veg early flower is 50-60 so I probably shouldn’t have given that advice. My bad. But I do personally run it at 70 with my strain and it’s been dialed in over many runs. And I run this until week 6 of flower in my case at which point on a ten week strain I start to reduce both temp and humidity and finish around 25’c with 35-40 rh. There is lots to read on this and like any advanced technique there is a lot of debate about whether it works or not. But in my experience with a mostly sativa cut of nl5xhaze it works extremely well. With an indica dominant strain I would imagine a slightly lower rh might be more suitable.
