no seedlings will perform the same.
the 52 days is ball park figure.
its never an exact science.
interesting strain though, sativa with those stats.
tasty.

I didn't say anything about flipping the lights. I was merely informing you that a plant showing sex is the same thing as pre flower. A plant obviously will show sex (pre flower) before you induce flowering. I was pointing out the redundancy of posting both "showing sex" and "pre flower" as two different options, when they are in fact the same thing.
Good point
but people were also advising the harvest time count was from showing sex
pre flowering is showing sex

Yup. You've already received good advice. It's very dependent. It looks like you already got the answer you were looking for.

For what's its worth I'll throw in my .02. I count my days to harvest* after two days after the light switch, and the plants have already been pre flowering. This allows for the hormone shift in the plant to happen, and flowering floows after. To be honest a two or three day window is to be expected, it's not really am exact science.

*this number is arbitrary, and varies based on preferences person. If you are already showing pre flower before you flip to flower hours, you can go by the light flip. If you don't see the sex (pre flower) but go ahead an switch to flower anyways, then I would go by the day the plant showed sex rather than the day I flipped the hours. Do you see what Im saying? It's literally something you need to witness first hand. Hope I could help!

waffle sir.
pure waffle.
I dont know what "waffle" means, but if it is anything like "bullshit", I suggest you check out the original question that I was responding to. I never implied that all seeds were the same or that seedbanks suggested flowering times were accurate. Just that the number of days breeders/seedbanks estimate starts from the flip to 12/12

it has to be preflowers because just because u switched the light doesnt mean u have a flowering plant under it yet. it always takes longer than they say!

My plants can't tell time and because I bring summer to them they don't even know the time of year. These timelines given are a ball park figure that comes from a lab enviorment with exacting control.

I would suggest taking that number as a guideline because most of us have different condition and growth will vary from grower to grower. I run 8 week strains and with my set up they are ready on the ninth week or someone there.

i always veg my plants until they show preflowers so this question has been one that has always confused me some what too cheesus.. glad it sounds like you've gotten a pretty solid answer right from the breeder though, which is always the best way to go about things if you can contact the breeder..

i think when you get to that day , your instinct will tell ya if they are ready or not.
depends on what the breeders personal preference is when smoking also,
we all know how different strains can perform when cut early or late . . .
how far along are they or are they not started yet ?
