stupid question

Ok here goes dont laugh ? How long does it take before your plants really start taking off into the flower phase. My plants 4 of them just stared to show there hairs lol sounds abit weird. the question as asked above. when do they start takeing off keep in mind theres only a few here and there and there very small.Just trying to get some facts and time line down for future grows.and im impatient. thanks to any one who can answer this plus rep if i can.

Most strains will stretch for the first 21-24 days, then usually one to two weeks after that it will start to really flower. Most strains flower completely in 8-10 weeks after flipping lights.

i think from what ive read on other posts about 2-3 weeks you should def have hairs or balls. then i believe after 4 weeks you should see small development for bud locations, however that is just a guess, im a newbie to so im not sure

Bare in mind it depends wether it's indica or sativa, sativas take longer than indica, also depends on lighting, nutes, growing conditions, etc., thus I don't think it's an easy answer to give, there's too many variables.
