ok heres the deal i live in colorado i have a medical license to have 3 girls flowering at any given time. so i went and bought a pack of somas amnesia haze. paid 158.42 for 10 seeds and i bought a pack of jacks cleaner 2. paid 50.00 for 10. ok so i germinated 10 seeds 5 from soma 5 from tga, well guess what? this morning i looked at the seeds all five of the jc2 are ready to hit the soil. not one of soma seeds is ready. you know you would think that for 158.42 i would get some quality and some satisfaction, neither are there imo. but i put the jc2 in the ground and 3 have already shown there heads so you tell me. now im not saying that soma sucks proably just got a bad seed pack , but my point is that subs seeds cost less and imo are the best. my last harvest was 3 cuttlings of agent orange from sub and i thought it was some of the best ganja i ever smoked, it took the migranes away instantly and helped tremendesly with the muscle spasms i suffer from. so in my closet ill be only rocking tga seeds from here out. tired of wasting my hard earned money on overated seeds, yeah im saying it soma seeds are way fuckin overpriced. i want to remind soma that i grow for potency and taste. with soma i feel you are simply paying for the name soma the plants are ok ive grown his lavender from seed and just was not impressed at all, taste like shit even with a 2 month cure so sub and the tga family get my vote and my dollars every time from here on out. no more wasting money looking for that perfect pheno, like i said ill be rocking sub seeds only from here on out. THANKS SUB AND THE TGA FAMILY FOR PUTTING QUALITY AND TIME INTO SEEDS THAT ALL MEDICAL PATIANTS CAN AFFORD AND IMO NEED. :peace: love and:joint:

i bought my first pack of soma's nyc diesel and out of my first 3 i germed all 3 popped quickly and have been growing nice ever since. they are awesome plants now in their 2-3 week of flowering. awesome smell and looks to be amazing grow.

its all in how the seeds are stored, transported, and finally the method you germ them in really. totally out of soma's hands

I think it's also important, and maybe an indicator of quality, that you can actually get in direct contact with Subcool himself and talk to him about the seeds you've purchased, his growing methods, just about whatever, either here or through his site (I don't know if it's breaking RIU rules for me to openly speak of his site). Also, he puts up information on the plant's genetics, how they grow, PICTURES oh man some seriously juicy pictures, yeah, not just where the seeds are being sold, but elsewhere.

I can pretty much guarantee you won't see Soma on this thread either :)

Soma's a Good guy he just has to swim with the sharks in Holland we have different goals and different ideals about Cannabis but hes a good dude just trying to survive in a very complicated environment in Amsterdam.

I havent tried subs gear yet cause I got to grow out my Mandalay hashberry this winter but I have NEVER heard one bad thing about TGA. They are on my christmas list for sure...:hump:

hey sub, so i'm a new grower and seriously need to find great seeds. preferably feminized cause the space i have to flower in is small and the same location as the vegetative state. i was looking around and everyone is overpriced or bad to buy from since i'm in texas. if you can point me to your website or give me some information (anything will help) that would be awesome. thank you

very well put subcool.Soma is a good dude.his heart and his intentions are golden.Now i recently harvested 4 nycd from soma.And at 1st i felt burned thought i got a huge yeild of schwagg.But i hung it for 4 days and sampled it.I could taste the chlorophill but figured i could at least tell if it was decent.It burned my throat. so i went on a tyraid and started knocking soma.low and behold.after 2 weeks in the jar.I tried it again and honestly it was some of the best pot i ever tasted.Like lemony/tangerine/grapefruit candy.And sooooo potent.Time is the thing when working with soma.He told me the diesel wuold be ready in 9-10 weeks.It took 13.And its verry important to cure it properly or you wont get the full effect.Now no knocks to subcool i have smoked agent orange and spacejill.Nice stuff truely.But i would'nt put either in my top 10.Im sorry subcool.Also soma personally responded to all my e mails and provided some nice tips to enhance my nycd grow.Remember its all in the waiting with soma many strains these days are good to go after a short 1.5-2 week cure.With soma wait at least a month.Now on another note somas diesel beans were over 200 bucks.Thats over 20 bucks a seed.and imo no pot seeds are worth that much money.so kudos to team green avenger for putting out great quality at a good price.Now its only fair to say that if i had got to smoke some agent orange that i grew myself or that sub grew ,then it may very well make my list.

trust me im not knockin soma but i will knock on the price of them beans. like i said last harvest had somas lavender, cured it for 2 months and still it was dirt. and that proably should have told me, but damn its soma you need one of his strains in your mother room. well unless my club gets ny deisel then im out. looked at the seeds again tonight and found 2 have cracked so we will see. hope to post pics once they get started. and big ups to all. even my man soma. whatcha gonna do it is what it is...

see this is what i dont get; people on his site would rather put you down than help you out. i'm sorry budsworth, however you left me no help and no pointers which is what i needed from subcool or other forum people. i'm sorry bad rating to you. :-|

Who's putting whom down? Some people are preferring Subcool's genetics. Others are preferring Soma's. All Buds said was that Sub doesn't sell fem'd seeds. That's not a put-down, it's just a statement is all.

If I felt it was not breaking the rules to say where you can find Sub, I would. Maybe he'll contact you directly.

As far as the price of beans, well, I was raised a free market type of gal and as my dad would always say, "Honey, what the market will bear is what the market will bear." In other words, no one would be "able" to charge those prices if people weren't willing to pay, would they? :)

I will repeat Feminized seeds the way they are currently produced is a marketing ploy.
Any nice female found would be dwarfed by the quality of a properly bred seed line.

For the record this is the process to do it correctly.
Breed a strain and make seeds
Grow out 1000 females and stress them naturally eliminating any that herm with stress.
After about 5 years work you should be down to 20 females that will not herm under stress conditions.
Take and out cross all 20 and track the results and work down to just 5 females.
Select the best one and clone her.

Using STS forse the clone to produce male flowers and pollinate the original mom.
Walah 99% herm free s1.

The way its done is some greedy smuck uses sts on some clone and makes fem seeds and the suckers born every minute buy em up hoping to short cut the time honored tradition of selection.

You know, Sub, I think that Mary has a genetic prerogative to reproduce sexually. It's that mixing of the haploid cells I think she wants. I like doing things the old-fashioned way. Give me seeds, let them grow, I'll cull out the boys and the keep the girls (til I learn enough to breed on purpose ;) ), move on from there.

1,000 Moms? You must have a good, strong back. :lol:
