the only weed nerd episode i liked was the one he was at some outdoors grow and fell over the built up planter. lmao over that one, but i only saw like the minute clip of that back in the day on the seed collector's thread..
oh, and another clip i saw where it looked like he shaved while riding a mechanical bull.. one side of his stache looked like hitler, and the other side looked like paul sr from american chopper.. how he went on camera like that was too funny.. again, only watched the clip on that one as well.. but i couldn't stop pissing myself. wish i knew episode numbers so i could share the laughter..

and i agree, if you want flavor, go with tga.. if you want potency and anything resembling stability, well, not so much.. idk how many pheno's i've heard from that plushberry.. the pink pheno, the purple pheno, the green pheno, the this, the that.. christ.. it's no wonder when everything you make is polyhybrid x polyhybrid from hell..

he sure does have a strong fan base though, i'll give the man that.. sometimes on here i feel like it's people who don't visit other sites and never get to talk to any other breeders, so for them, seeing and being able to talk to a breeder is like talking to rock star.. idk, that's my theory and i'm sticking to it, lol..

I've only ever had one tga strain throw nanners that's known to do so under stress (ace of spades) and only certain phenos -- in week 8 and never produced seeds... so while a bummer, not really the end of the world... both times I got'em they definitely had stresses that could've contributed... or it could've been just the genetics. But those were just not considered for mothers -- for example this run, 1 out of 6 of my aces threw nanners in week 8. But I've also grown a lot of tga strains and never had any other issues, so it's not like tga genetics are all unstable and throwing nanners. Disagree with whoever commented that in a 10 pack you may not even get a good pheno. I usually find a lot of good plants in a 10 pack and rarely a disappointment... that's not true of most of the other breeders i've tried whose plants usually don't grow as vigorously as TGA and who I often find more average phenos... now there are a couple of tga strains that have been listed as average potency that maybe you're referring to... for example agent orange or jilly bean are known to be average if you don't find the right keeper pheno... guess what? i read up on tga and just didn't get them because i'm not that interested in pheno hunting them... but it's not my finding that tga gear in general is hard to find a keeper in a pack of 10

One thing I rarely see when I see someone complain about TGA potency... I usually see them say something negative about TGA, but never what was better. Who was their breeder they tried other than TGA that is delivering the 10 packs where every pheno looks the same, grows like crazy and every female is a 20% plus keeper?? I never see people say 'I grew X specific strain from Y specific breeder and it blew TGA away -- all the phenos were the same and every female was badass.' NEVER seen it. It's always just 'tga sucks, subcool sucks, i don't like this about tga'. I kinda have a thing about people who always going posting negative hate about other stuff, because I don't tend to live my life going around posting about stuff I hate But it'd be nice if they turned it into some kind of positive other than bitching a bit more.

Yeah I watch all the nerds so yeah I saw that... maybe a lame excuse I dunno, but there is that saying that you have to see things through someone elses eyes, walk a mile in their shoes, etc... sub went to CO expecting it to not be bad and was miserable because of his COPD... so is it lame to say you don't want to go to MI in august because of that because it's warm then? i dunno, could be convenient, could just be not wanting to risk the same thing happening from before. frankly if he balls out lied and just didn't want to go to MI for any other reason I really don't care. Like I said he's not my idol or something. Frankly if he doesn't want to go to MI because a lot of people there are flaming him I wouldn't blame him... but that doesn't stop him from going back to the PNW so seems doubtful -- he's got plenty of haters in WA and OR too He's clarified since that vid that the main reason he doesn't want to go to MI is the cops. Really what does it matter to me? Either my ace of spades, timewreck and other strains are getting me high and producing or not. I don't go into every thread where someone posts about Marc Emery positively and say how when he used to run his seed business in the OG days he always had people complaining about getting the wrong seeds and shit service and other personal disputes.... does it make marc emery a shitty person or any less of a role model activist if he had some petty disagreements with people in the past? If he likes Lynrd Skynrd are you not going to like marc emery anymore? there are some fucking laughable complaints in this thread...

That subcool puppet was good for a giggle he had a really good idea but it coulda been a lot better... there is way more he could've done Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery... you haven't really made it unless you have a group of people hatin' on you... and I guess you've made it when someone does puppet parodies of you as well

I don't consider everybody who dislikes tga haters... some people's situation aren't compatible... for example if you need femmes or autos you're out of luck... and if you need plants that all look and grow the same every one in the 10 pack, you're mostly out of luck, although there are a couple that are pretty stable (ex: apollo 13). if you're growing looking for keepers to clone or just like a variety of good smelling dank plants tga's your bag. The genetics are NOT unstable you just see variation between the parent phenos. It's not like you get a pack and just get a bunch of random phenos that are nothing like the parents... you get phenos like either parent and you get phenos in between and with different matches of traits of the parents. In a 10 pack I usually see one or two like dad, one or two like mom, and 2-4 in betweens, depending on how many females I get (usually 6/10).

i dislike people who've grown a 5 pack or two or a 10 pack and not having good results making blanket statements about stability, potency, etc. at best their comments only relate to the strains they grew. dislike people who just because they personally don't like the weed nerd or sub's musical choices whining and dissing it -- people's tastes in music and entertainment differ. Deal with it don't sit around and waste valuable time in your life before you die bitching about subcool. Shit how much of your lives have you wasted bitching and posting negative shit in this thread.... what did you get out of it? I just think people who spend dedicated time bitching about things are generally wasting their lives.... there's a few things really important to bitch about, like our government subcool/tga in general isn't one of'em. like anything on tv you don't like it, turn it off. you don't like tga, don't buy it... I can DEFINITELY see why subcool is not some people's cup of tea. I can definitely see why he rubs some people the wrong way. Do I think he's an angel? No. Do I care? Not really. I don't see why you can't like TGA and other breeders... why if I like something else do I have to hate on TGA? Sub's got good stuff but he's not the only breeder doesn't make him a bad breeder if you happen to like another better, so...

i've still not seen anyone respond with the example of the breeder who puts out identical plants that are all dank in every pack without any average phenos or poor growers.

i'm only in this thread because it's a boring time on RIU for me and i'm avoiding doing banal gardening tasks... what are you guys getting out of this??
