Sucker leaves cut or keep?

Just wondering what everyone does. RIU has shutdown a couple threads on this subject so, let's try and keep it civil. Would like to know what most folks do on this subject. I've only got a couple years growing indoors under my belt but, have over 30 outdoors. I never cut leaves outside only dead and dying ones. I've tried trimming some during flower and wasn't impressed with the final outcome. For me leaving them on seems to get me larger denser buds at harvest. So, i'd like to get some input on peoples methods. I grow in a 4x4 area under a 600 with some t-5 side lighting. I run 6 plants so things are pretty tight in my room. I lollipop around a third off the bottoms a few weeks before switching to flower for airflow and better buds up top. Here's a pic of my current purple kush 5 weeks since switch to 12/12. Sucker leaves intact. Feel free to post some pics with and without suckers and how your method works for you.

i would keep all the leaves on your plant it does not look like it has too many to start with
it looks like a nice natural mini xmas tree shape light and air can reach all of the plant without problems
i would only remove growth from lower down if it looks weak

personally i would remove foliage more so on larger plants when a plant grows like this below
shading itself with a vast amount of leaves

peace :)

Hey zack

I have a similar method except that I top my plants in veg and trim heavily during the switch.

Here's my plants after having their skirts raised.

Here they are 23 days of 12/12.

And again at start of week 4

Week6

Week10

Another 7 days or so left on these.

Here's everything I use.

Don't get me wrong i cut away alot of plant material during veg. I top and select 4 mains from the stem and remove every branch except for those 4 I've selected. Once they've recovered I switch to 12/12.

During this stretch phase I remove bottom growth. A small amount of lolly popping if you will.

After this I remove NOTHING.

Seems to be working for you. I give my ladies veg nutes all through flower till the last 10 days or so.

I feed N only for the first 2 weeks of flower then, feed N along with my bloom nutes to finish. I don't ever flush. I'm running organics so see know need to flush. Though, the last 2 weeks I cut way back on the nutes. About quarter strength keeps them still green and happy. Then, the last week water only.
