Sudden burst in growth at flower stage

I transplanted a healthy but slow growing one plant grow sativa plant from a 3 gallon bucket to 5 gallon bucket.
I did this right before flowering. The roots are now digging into fresh rich nitrogen soil.

The stems are now going crazy. The main flowering stalks can't decide whether they want to make a cola stem...or push out fresh new stems just beneath them to make new cola stems. lol.
Anyone have that happen? I trimmed the plant as best I could...but wow, the flowering stage is an interesting one.

I may need a taller tent than 63" high, in the long run, with this one plant tent grow.

I'm new but from what I understand, the first 2 weeks of 12 12 usually result in the plant growing 2-3 times it's size when flipped. sounds normal to me.

This is normal. When you switch to 12/12 the plants can double to quadruple in size quickly depending on the strain, with sativa going towards triple to quadruple in size. Indica will stay on the shorter side of double to triple.

my veggie garden does the same. ever watch a peas or green beans grow, same thing. when plants get what they need its crazy the way they thrive. welcome to nature, its been around

I had to do some cutting of new growths. The bud areas want to grow bigger but also want to propagate new flower shoots off their own. Maybe because they're getting a surge of nitrogen since the transplant.

I may have to buy a taller tent than 63" high

you're not being wise trimming tops while in flower. bend, twist, tie, stakes are better alternatives, says my grow bibles.
there is no maybe, check out a grow bible before you waste this effort

I'm trimming ok. That's why I may be buying a taller tent. I'm growing a one stem massive pot plant that may take awhile before harvesting and may take a taller tent, and not be spectacular.

I'm not seeing multi colored trichrome frosty sugared leaves yet. I can't see how ppl attain that.

CFL'ers post frosty grow pics ( I just added 2 cfl's to go with my 1000W led) for flowering.

Gimme a break you, who post CFL grown sugar frosted leaf pics and buds. You're bumming me out.

I'll wait 6 more weeks flowering before calling my grow less than great. What week should I be seeing sugar frosted leaves and buds? He-he-he (gimme a break/ have mercy).
