Actually switching to aeroponic, and already have problems with spray heads clogging. The cane sugar has molasses as second ingredient. Sugar daddy is 2% cane sugar. I will have to assume about 1 tsp of cane sugar for 20 gallons, to achieve 2.5%.
Dont assume, it's simple math. the %s are listed in Weight/volume. 1 mL of water weighs 1 gram. 1 Liter = 1000mL. so 1 Liter weighs 1000 grams. 2% of 1000g is 20 grams.
So to make a 2% w/v solution, you'd add 20g of sugar and bring the volume up to 1 Liter.
That being said: dont be using sugar, molasses, or any organic shit in aero. You really need to go synthetic to avoid sprayers clogging. The sugar serves to feed micros, which can be beneficial in soil, where you want lots of little bugs and micros in your substrate. It's not always good to have micros living in your res, especially if you have to deal with sprayers clogging. If you really want to add sugar in your res, you should do some other hydro that doesnt involve sprayers (flood/drain, dwc, etc).
