Suggestions for grow tent time lapse photography?

I've been using a Wyze 2 camera, which has cool night time capabilities, but its resolution is kinda crappy. Its a $20 camera though, so i'm not complaining.
What's the best camera for time lapse photography that also offers night time options? Your thoughts/suggestions are appreciated!

There's nothing better than a dslr, or similar, using an intervalometer. But the night vision requirement makes it tough. Maybe a hunting/deer cam?

Agreed with the DSLR approach. I have a canon 5d III, and its super sharp, but zero night time ability in "total" darkness.
I was using a go pro for awhile, but its minimum focus distance is 10 inches, and it also has zero night time options.
The wyze camera I recently used is super helpful at night because to be honest, that's where the excitement happens! The plants move so much in anticipation of sleep/awake time.
I want to capture all of it in high resolution.

Took a look at some of the gaming cameras that have night vision, and some of them are fairly substantial in size (to big for a tent). I think I'll stick with the WYZE for now.

Would any Ring cameras work? I love the small size of my garage Wyze
