Sulfer burner for pm

Just noticed some powdery mildew on a couple of my plants 5 weeks into veg. After doing alot of reading it seems the sulfer burner is the only true sure way of controlling pm. I am planning on building my own burner after reading this http://www.icmag.com/ic/showthread.php?t=117056

Does anyone else use one in there indoor grow to control pests and mildew?
How much sulfer do you usually use and how often to control pm?

Read that thread a little closer. He used ~1/4 cup of the sulfur pellets.

For me, 1 burn of around 2 hrs did the trick. Others use shorter burns, more often. It helps to use a timer, you don't want a super long burn, but it all depends on the size of the room/tent.
