If they want to find you, they can and will, the point here is that they aren't singling out users on an international forum because we are from all places of the globe. There are thousands of users, and sites like ICMag and Grasscity contain far more "large operation" grows and even more people. Short of infecting your computer with a key-logging virus there is likely only 0.1% of the world who could effectively track down someone from there post, and these people want some serious cash for their services.
If you can track someone so easily then I guess you can tell where I am!
Seems like most everyone here has a few hundred watts going, nothing major, and not worth the hundreds of thousands of dollars it'd take to put together a technical team that could build a case on e-evidence. I mean, really, most people here have like 3 plants in a closet with some CFL bulbs. Even a 1000w system isn't going to get their panties all twisted. Cops spend their day looking for real bad guys and not people who may or may not have a medical license to do what we are doing. There are other, less expensive, methods to catching "bad guys" than trolling forums and running back traces by hacking the server and uncovering the email addresses of users, then using a bot in an email to these people to infect their system.
And then you get someone like myself who runs firefox with all the security add ons like no script, anonymous, and flash block, all on a custom built Linux system complete with hardware and software firewalls... Ensuring to use a Dynamic IP while still using a Proxy server. Good Lucking Fuck.
