No, but I sure as hell would like to know if they work for growing. My closet would love to have one. could claim just want to see how clothes look outside color wise plus natural light is always pleasing to the eye.

My personal word of advice is no.

The idea is good, but I know from personal experience (with more than one property) that once you put a hole of any sort into a roof you will likely end up with leaks. The only factor is time, but leaks are almost always guaranteed.

Do not do this if you care about your roof, it's not worth what may eventually follow.

you dead right, only stupid people put a hole in there roof when they don't know what there doing.
