Sunshine Advanced Mix #4 too hot?

I'm a big fan of the regular Sunshine #4 and it's not too hot for seedlings. I never heard of the advanced one but here's a link from Sunshine http://www.sungro.com/retail-product/sunshine-advanced-mix-4/
It doesn't list any fertilizers so should be cool. I generally use water the first time and feed the second time in regular Sunshine. I don't even PH for the first month or so as there's enough dolomite in it to keep the PH 5.8-6.2

Here's a link where it's discussed https://www.thcfarmer.com/threads/sunshine-4-advanced-mix-about-feeding.38583/

Awesome, thats what I was looking for. I think the "advanced" just has myco and coco coir(idk if the original #4 has coco or not). When using lime do you just top dress and water in, if so how much per gl of "soil"? How often do you usually have to raise the pH during the grow? Sorry for all the questions, it's my first time trying to grow in peat.

sunshine mix #4 has zero nutrients in it. Making it fine for seedlings. You’ll need to feed soon.

I think the advanced just has the myco and coco like you said; the original has neither of those two. I do add some extra lime outside for big plants but inside I doubt you'll need to add any extra dolomite lime; Sunshine usually has plenty. If you're adding extra for cal/mag supplementing then it's probably a tablespoon or two per gallon. I don't usually have to raise the PH at all. By the time it's getting out of range the plants need a bigger pot and fresh sunshine#4 so it usually stays pretty good. If you get worried check the PH of your runoff.

Im using sunshine mix #4 with aggregate ...I mixed in more perlite for drainage ...Im having huge issues with PH ...I did not add lime because it says that there is lime already added .I am using Cal Mag instead ..I have alot of experience with indoor growing ,but have never used Sunshine mix before .I bought it because it was cheaper than Coco ....Its strange because if I make a sledge with water at PH 7...I get 6.2 when first mixed .If I let it sit 4 hours ,I get an almost perfect 6 ....I let it sit overnight and it is still almost perfect 6 .....Now heres the strange part ????....When I feed at a PH of 7 ,the runoff from my pots comes out at 5.5 to 5.6 ish or lower PH ??? My plants are not growing well ,Ive never had this issue before ..Ive used all different types of grow mediums in the past ... I noticed right away that there seems to be a lot of sticks etc. in the Sunshine mix ?? is this normal ?? Do you think I should transplant my plants into something else ?? My water from the tap after adding the nutes and CalMag is just under 7.3 PH ...Ive never ever needed PH UP before ..any advice ??

I picked up a few bales of the Advanced with coco....I can't tell the difference between the Advanced and the all peat version.
