Sunshine??

I have 4 plants still in veg mode. I was wondering if it was alright to put them in the sun for 2-3 hours. The plants are only about 4-5 inches and the light i have is not enough. I have 2 40w cool white lamps for now. plan on getting cfl's or a hps for flowering.

yea but just a GOOD eye on them..they might burn n need frequent watering..Natural sun will be good for them

i just was reading about shock to the plants. is that true?

Well you'll get some shock when you transplant them then out em in the sun..but when i had my sprouts Id put them in the sun during the day and take em back in at night n it was blazing out! Just keep them watered and if you see anything wrong just taike em back in..like i said keep a GOOD eye on them...

it doesnt always happen. just like smokeablunt said. keep a good eye on them. and you might want to just keep them outside. your not gonna get very far with two cfls. I would suggest investing in a hps. your plants are 5 inches, its august so outside wont last long. I would say once you get more lights and put them in your grow box, put the plants in there, but untill then keep your girls outside. good luck
