I have posted before asking on different complete setups as I am a disabled vet and don;t have the tools or patients to build my own setup I been searching everywhere for the best deal to quality ratio and this seems to be the best bang for my buck but before I make the investment I wanted to get some opinions from you experienced guys out there. I am aware that a DIY would be cheaper but yet again that is not ideal for me. Thanks in advance guys/galshttp://buyagrowbox.com/3quarterkit.html

The deal looks like a good one but do some research first about the seller, doesn't look very trustworthy. Also the lights seem to be stock and might not be up to par with say a Hortilux MH/HPS bulb which are the best in the market. I also suggest going to Amazon and searching for these piece individually; that's where I get all my equipment and the prices are always very competitive. Create a wishlist and see if the total equals the deal you mention in the link and compare the deal that way, you might be surprised with the end result. Hope it helps.

Myself..I don't like 4" vents and perfer cool tubes or vented hood. Its not hard to make. Tools you will need the same either way if you get a tent. Maybe look at a tent set with light and buy the centrifugal fan and nutes. Buckets or bags for soil are cheap. Thanks for your service.

looks like a good deal but how much is shipping??? that might be a deal breaker. it may pay for itself with one cycle run through it

Look on craigslist in your city. Do the search first for "grow". See what comes up. Then search "HPS". Then "tent". Just those keywords and you'll see lots.

Make sure you do not buy a grow tent with PVC tubes you will regret it when things start to brake

Have you looked at EBAY?
I'm not being a smartass, but maybe you'll find something there, and ebay will give you the rating from past buyers of that merchant.
You can't expect everybody out there selling supplies for this industry to be 'standup reputable merchants', so beware!

Not sure if you live in my state or close but I would put it together for you, if you are a vet, disabled or not. PM me, would suggest anyone else that is close if I am not to help the guy get going. He spent much more time helping you than you would ever helping him.

it looks good comes with alot of stuff. i would prce everything out for what you can actually get it for to compare it. you might find it cheaper searching around where you live or a combination of that and the internet. 600 is alot to spend i bet you can get all those parts cheaper.

Without a cooled hood the tent will get really hot, really quick.

I bought a 3x3 tent on amazon for $90. For a bit more you can get one with minimal light leaks and cool side access. If your tent will be in an out of the way spot that you can keep fairly dark, you do not have to worry about light leaks.

I bought a 600 watt digital HPS with cooled hood for about $235 (it does not have MH, which runs MUCH hotter than HPS. My 400 watt MH runs hotter than my 600 watt HPS)
I got a 6" filter fan combo for $185

lights/fans/filters for cheap can be had at htgsupply.com

As has been said, check craigslist.

I have a 3x3 tent with a 600 watt hps and live in a med state. I've been growing in it for about 4 years and can pull around a pound.
PM me if you have any questions, I don't check this board every day.

Do you want to go soil, coco or hydro?

That looks good for the most part, but you're going to want an aircooled hood for that HPS light, because it's going to get hot in the summer.

Hey
Have you checked around at a few of your local hydro shops. You should be able to find someone who can help you out. If your a vet no one will hesitate to set up a good tent for ya.
