My weekend is starting! Fuck these new plant trays killed me, $35... more than twice what a bucket costs- those bastards. The cheaperass trays I bought were already breaking, I didnt foresee them lasting long. The new trays are nice and big so I can do a flush without moving plants then shop vac out the runoff. I got both lights fired up right now running a temp check. I'll crank up the exhaust speed if I need to but we'll see. I dont want the AC running non stop either. I think I'll leave the MH in for awhile while flower starts and just cuz I dont feel like changing the bulb yet :) I dont see the lazy susan being very useful soon, I'm gonna have to water that back corner with a funnel. I need to change my light hanging hardware to something easier, like quality yo-yo's but yeah I'm cheap so I havent yet. On to the glory... I may move some plants around for height/size reasons as things get under way.

HPS just starting to warm up

When are you flipping? lol they look lovely! I am chopping my LA Con, Cherry Pie and Sour Hawaiian. Headband and GSC still need time. Make sure you get clones off your LA Con, Its the best of all the clones I got. Dont let that one go, she is a keeper!

I can already see I'm gonna have an issue with the 1k ballast. There will be a plant growing into it soonish. Gonna have to relocate it or put a cage around it.

Could you put it right next to the AC so it stays cool? I've got my ballast about 4 inchs infront of a fan to keep the ambient temp of it down low.

Yeah but the damn room is already a major fucking hassle to navigate. And that ballast weighs a ton, and my bad toe, well you know it's just not gonna be fun to move. Watering sucks, then waiting to shop vac the runoff, yay for accidental coco! The plants all seem to be happy now but I'd much rather have a flood table for such a medium.

Like I mentioned, I got 8/8 of clones rooted. I plan to keep one vegging when the next round starts. I used rooting powder and happy frog in solo cups. I could fit more if I use the root plugs instead, we'll see next time. Im thinking of crossing the peacock with the headband if I can keep her going long enough. I'll make my Chaka OG yet! Here was last nights view.

Headband starting nugs in the next shots. I really need to get my stairs done cuz I know that light is leaking into the room to some extent.

I need to get thrifty to finish this grow (I think) The flower nutes will be running low/out right as this one wraps up. Once I figured out I was growing in coco things went really well, but I don't like fucking with runoff and the shop vac. So I don't really know what I want my next grow medium to be yet so I need to wait on nutes. I'm not buying the mendo mix again either way, it was overpriced at my shop. I haven't ran a real hydro system in over a decade and I'm wanting to do that again. Possibly I'd be doing rock wool slabs, drain to waste or coco drain to waste. My mind changes like the weather though so who knows!

My GSC is a stretchy bitch, thats her in the back. 11 days since the flip.

I think I did end up with a YP in the bunch, now that the flowering is starting they start to look different. This would be her

These are some of the headband buds forming. Like I said, I got my money on this being the best of the bunch!

Here's them Peacock AK47!

This is LA Con

More Headband buds

The is the group shot, it really doesn't do it justice at how hard it is to navigate my little room already. Major hassle watering the back plants. I had to trim the fan leaves in my walk way just to get a little more room to squeeze through. I think to optimize the dual lights Id need 2 more plants to close the gap on the right at which point I won't be able to adjust the lights easily and make watering even harder. We'll see what the yields are this go an adjust from that point. I'd certainly need an auto watering setup if I'm going to do wall to wall plants though.
