i got clones from a club put them outdoors and they started flowering in june. What is the deal with this. I also started some seeds and have had them outdoors for about a month and a half but they are still in veg. Why would a plant start to flower when they are getting about 14 and a half hours of light a day??? anyone please help

Don't stress. I had 4 big buds that started to flower in early june. That and a few bagseeds i had kicking around i put out in late april. Why? Your guess is as good as mine. Im just going to let them go and see what happens.

Some will look like they are flowering but they are just showing alot of pre-flowers per say. They will flower fuul bore come fall.

Auto flowering is a reson as well.

thanks for the comments guys. the strain was grand daddy kush and paris kush just random shit that i picked up from the club. The autoflowering sounds like that could be it. They were definitely not just preflowers though, They were really shitty non dense buds that were smokeable so they were full fledge into flowering

Some will grow a shit load of pre-type flowers and then fill in and grow like crazy when fall hits. Thats why they are so thin.

I may be ignorant, but I thought nobody clones autoflowering strains. Considering the pointless pain-in-the-assery of doing so.

when you buy clones from the clubs, they've been kept under 24hr light. the drastic change in light cycle could have alot to do with it. Also, some indica dominants, especially kush's, can start flowering at height of summer. If your in socal and the day is only 14.5 hrs at longest, thats pretty close to 12 hrs of light. Ive had em start flower in may and revert in june for a month, best to start in june.

Agreed. The drastic light change may have something to do with it.

I know somebody who had clones under the light 24/7, put them outside in a shady spot and they went into flower. I had the same clones put in the sunlight and it gets blasted with sun from sunrise to sunset. Its showed pre-flowers I thought it was going to bud but nope its just getting bigger and bigger with no more signs of budding. :D :D

lucky me.

well i hope mine keep growing and stop flowering. I was not aware of auto flowering clones. I have some hindu kush that were started from seed from day one outdoors and they are looking great with no preflowers. So, it has to be the clone factor and the fact that they were under 24 hours of light a day and 14 and half hours of light is pretty drastic now
