Well as I'm new to growing, 12/12 will be interesting along with the party cups, to say the least a new light to be figuring out. Nice of you to go that far for a prize like that (not that I stand a chance in winning) but the more I learn the better I can become. + rep Endur0xX.

I have never done 12/12 from seed &

Well I'm not going to waste money on good fem seeds so I grabbed the bag seed and have been culling through to find 10 good seeds, with my sucsess rate from a pervious grow I'll probably ony have 3 ladies growing....LOL. This going to be fun, can you tell I'm excited?

Walmart = 3$ for a pack of 50 ... I am sure you can hit the dollarstore and get even better deal, ... just get party cups!i wanted to try a party cup grow on my own... i didnt have any solo cups lol so i cut the top off a monster can, 16 oz is 16 oz... im using cfl though, but for those of you who wanna join who dont have a party cup, find a 16 oz container.. thats if enduro allows it
The seeds can be put in the 16oz anytime after the 27th
I will be out of town for a few days again but I will get the competition thread going tomorrow morning as well as my seeds!

there is a different way to look at it, you might think you are wasting money using fem seed to grow in a party cup, and in a way you are, but the way I see it is even if you estimate a gram at 5$, you will get at least 4grams even if you suck at it haha, so 4 grams is at least 20$ worth of pot, you can get fem seeds for less than 10$. Leaving you with a profit of at least 10$! But it is a waste of money considering that that same 10$ seed can yield you a lot more
the bag seed is always exciting though! I will do 2 fem seeds and 2 reg!

The only problem with taking cuts while 12/12 from seed is that it seems to me like every inch of growth matters, the plant doesnt have much time to produce leaves that will collect light, and so far I have not been topping any of my 12/12ers, might be a good time to try it out! and it will allow me to truly use the genetics! good thinking Gas!

Do you know I just spent 15 minutes digging in all the corners of my place looking for just 1 measly seed. You guyz are discriminating against us cloners

Hey End maybe you should pick a few RIUers whose opinion you trust or some you friended and ask them if they're interested in acting as judges and treat it as a "best in show" competition so you can win your prize, which by the way is one hell of a generous gesture on your part
. Hell ask some mods or even ask Rollie to do it! I think once you put a prize in there, people's competitive nature comes out, and you don't want to be accused of any bias or BS like that, right? Plus public polls can be easily manipulated. Not that I think any of you fine upstanding law abiding citizens would cheat to get a sweet little Fero light .
Anyway I got two more shots at getting some seeds tomorrow and just for the record; if for some strange reason I win, assuming I can find a seed
, I'm donating the panel to Endur0xX for his generosity and in honor for starting LED and Other's First LED Party Cup Competition!
And if I don't get a seed, Good Luck and Happy Growing to All Cuppers!

I guess it would be nice to be able to win my own prize but at the same time, I thought it would have been pretty lame to win my own prize, I didn't think of asking MODS to be judging the competition and I am the kind of person that acts impulsively, I will honor my words!
