but as far as foxfarm vs promix.. i went foxfarm...again. promix is good but if u do a side by side u will see the difference, i have used both but as you know foxfarm had all kinds of goodies in it that pro mix doesnt. pro-mix is good if your doing big grows, but for wha we do, fox farm is best suited in every way except price for the soil. also a good soil is just right xtra. may be cheaper for u cuz its made in ny. its what im usin now and i have used it once before usually hen the guys are out of foxfarm.

Yeah they are all in the same but some might be slow because of the cold temps..But they are heading into the 6 week of flower..I started 12/12 december 7 when my son came home from the hospital.The bubbas and tahoes were the first to show after a couple days the deaadheads were the ones that took like 2 weeks to show

Same boat here! My grow rooms last night dropped down to 50. I am sure that it is slowing the grows/flowering down but the cost of heating my rooms all night may not be worth the money! God damn cold weather!!!!! :cuss:

I use promix, it's good, but it's almost inert, it has VERY little nutrients in it. I think it is more bioactive than FFOF, so if you add your out organic fertz then it's just as good as OF, but a lot more media for your money. If you use chelated nutriets, promix works great and you don't have to amend it. It's basically soilless with a little EWC to start, but if you grow organically I'd recommend adding a bit of amendments before hand.

The girls are looking good berry!

Thanks..Im thinking promix is what im going to get and maybe some roots organics soil or soiless..Honestly the hydro store around me sells fox farms the most everything else is cheaper..

this is tru but amending will bring the price to foxfarms if u were to put the same stuff in it. either way is a good go, but if u want quantity go promix+perlite maybe buy some eartworm castings n thro em in ,.

im weird, some just want good seeds everything else just OK, some happy wit nurvana - i want best of everything

and if i was to try a lessor soil id prolly be adding shit to it still costing $$

as it is i dont like ff drainage so iadd 1 part pearlite to 4 parts ffof

For my drainage I put about an in of hydroton balls at the bottom, and I also use them on top so the soil doesn't get disturbed durring watering. FFOF is the best for beginers for sure!

T yep yep babies a very delicate stage it is easy to be a baby killer i ave taken a few lives as well mostly from over watering and pampering -just loving them to deth -but if a plant survives seedling satage most time it will be with you till harvest

Howard i like the idea of the balls top and bottom im punching yo star in the nose for that one
