Super Plant Tonic...what it is and what it is not...

i use SPT on 3 different plants. the results in comparison to plants that are not receiving it is amazing! i use it as a nutrient supplement once weekly in my tea mixtures. i noticed a solid growth spurt on all three plants after the first application! i have just started to flower a week ago and i added it to my tea tonight. i'm sure the results will be positive.

spt doesn't smell that bad on its own but alaska fish, molases and spt, jeeeeezuz thats one rank odor :)

peace.

Phatkix.... Your words are dead on. I've got a friend whos been nursing some sickly clones, that were given to him. I had bragged about SPT to him, so he asked me for some last week. I gave him half a bottle and told him, it could bring em' back from the dead no problem. He told me, if it worked, he'd buy me a new bottle.
.
Well, he called me earlier tonight and said " Not only are they back, but they are showing solid growth over the last three days." So, I guess it's safe to say, I'll be getting a new bottle and so will he. SPT rocks.....

Ok, I know I'm not crazy, only cuz my wife see's it too.... I used SPT yesterday for the 1st time on my 3 week old afgani kush babies. They literally jumped 2 1/2" to 3" in one day, which is huge, since they are only about 7"-8" to begin with! The color has also improved, went from being a lil yellow to deep dark green! WOW is all I can say. If you don't have a bottle of this stuff, run don't walk to Ebay and get some, FAST!

I have ordered and received my SPT, FP and to make shipping worth it I got the High P and high N bat guano for the future. They threw in free worm castings! Also my bottle did not leak, but the SPT is fermenting the molasses!

Is this normal? It is fizzy and pushes the bottom of the bottle out til it is round and the bottle tips on the table. I have asked this on several posts with no answer, also sent an email to BMO asking them but it's the weekend so... also there are 10 fruit flies (Drosophila sp.) floating in the bottle. I just opened ti for the first time today and it almost overflowed.

I am coming out of a newbie nute burn with FF big bloom. I have flushed, dried out and watered with no nutes and it is time to water again. I would like to use the SPT, but I don't know if it is too early after the burn or if the fermentation is a problem. Maybe I will do a half dose (1T/gal).

Any help would be appreciated!!!

Hayduke the SPT is alive, loosen the cap on the bottle & let it breathe. It is making the bottle swell because the bottle you have has a high micro-beastie content. They are eating, mulitplying and producing methane (they are farting - to put it crudely) / a little heat. That means you got a SWEET bottle. Products like Plant Sucess give you 130 k of micro-beasties per pound. SPT has around 120 k per ounce. Your bottle is probably even higher than that - which is like a said SWEET...
.
Lots of bubbling means the micro-beaties are hard at work - bioconverting (eating and pooping out the NPK) - which makes it highly soluble. Your plants will be able to suck up the NPK very easily. The high micro-beatie count will inoculate your soil or medium - and contine breaking NPK down to soluble forms, killing off the competition (bad bacteria/fungi) and taping into the roots - to feed them directly. All of those things are good.
.
A few dead gnats or fruit flies - extra protein / phosphurous - at least they are all natural.... LOL.....
.
Your bottle is good to go... Use it... You'll be glad you did....

Sweet! thanks for the pm and reply. Earlier I went ahead and watered the 4 that needed it with a full dose 1oz/gallon with 1 teaspoon extra molasses to replace that which was fermented out (maybe bad idea?)

Hangin' in the trailer park too:eyesmoke:

Thanks for the :peace: of mind!

Hayduke.... You are welcome... The extra molasses will not hurt a thing, just more for the micro-beaties to munch on & bioconvert. Which will end up as more for your plants to eat....

I got an email from BMO, they told me the same thing as OhSoGreen. Suggested loosening the lid to allow the methane to escape to keep bottle from swelling. There is ~.08%alc from the fermentation and no harm to plants. Use full strength. After using a few ounces, add a couple of ounces of dechlorinated water to help the little critters. They also said they were happy to answer any of my organic gardening questions.:bigjoint:

I was wondering about the fermentation myself. When I was a kid, my neighbor had a bunch of apple trees in his backyard. Every year, he would just let hundreds of these small crab apples from one tree, ripen and fall to the ground. The worms would eat them, they'd rot and basically ferment right on top of the ground. We'd get them and play war, chunking them like gernades. That tree always looked healthy, and always had a shit load of worms under it, so I guess the fermentation is not a bad thing.

OIsmoked12..... Worms & Micro-beaties both like Apple Juice too.. The extra simple sugars in fruit, really ramp up the action in your compost barrel. Or if you put them in a vermicompost bin...you've got some happy worms.... Either way, it enriches your compost - which is good.
.
I've got a bud who always buys the brown bannanas at the supermarket for .10 a pound. Straight to the compost barrel they go, talk about good stuff. Compost enriched with potassium..... Plants love it......

Chookface.... I have never tried grape juice in a grow. I might, however, mix up a gallon of it, pour in an ounce of SPT & bubble it for a few days. Afterwards, I will feed it to one plant, using a quart every three days - just to see what happens. I wonder if the buds will have a nice grape taste ? I will begin testing, as soon as possible, in the name of science, and report back.
.
No, I have never been on the Skunk Magazin Forums. I'll give them a look, Thanks for suggesting them.

My poor little girls have had 2 doses of SPT at full strength following a nute burn and a flush. a burst of new growth today with thicker white pistils! The stuff smells like it would not take much to mess up your intestinal tract, so I treat like toxic waste, wash hands!!! It pours out kinda slimmy and sure stinks, but it looks like plants love it. Can't wait to see how it works without fing up the plants first!
