3 days or so? soil or hydro makes a diff too. If you catch it early you can stop it in its tracks. Damaged areas won't repair but it won't progress either.
dont expect the damaged leaves to return to a nice healthy leaf again. in my experience this just doesnt happen but it will stop progressing and the new growth will be nice and healthy and then just clip off the burned parts.
