Veg Cabinet

6.5x4.5.2.5 sealed cabinet with insulated floor with a 4x2 grow table and resivoir. A 250 watt Mh light to keep above the 2 mothers and 2 2 foot T5 floro's to germinate and clone. It gets too cold in there with the Mh off so i am staying on 24 hour lighting till i figure out how i am going to heat it in there with the light off

I put my own drip system together with a 160gph pump and 2gph drippers. On a timer watering 3 times a day for 5 minutes. There is a air stone in the water along with a water heater



I made my air intake at the top of the cabinet so i dont get too cold of air coming in off the concrete floor and so i dont suck in alot of dirt off the floor and such. Intake comes down the back wall through 4 in duct and comes out at the top of the table. Exhaust is in the back left corner at the top of the cabinet. Air gets sucked down 4 inch duct and out at the bottom rear corner by a 4 inch muffin fan.





Originally was going to use the 2 black dial timers then realized that i couldnt set 5 minute intervals with them for the feeding. So i went out and got a digital timer and does exactly what i need. I just havnt gotten around to taken one of the black timer outs yet.

I will be growing 2 strains, Super Silver Haze and God Bud. The SSH seeds came in really quick... i think it was 6 days from when i ordered,so i germinated those while waiting for the God Bud to arrive. I used the water and cup method and 4/6 SSH srpout. My germination are was a bit cool, probably would have had 100% germ rate if it was warmer.

I put the seeds under lights on Tuesday morning which was October 17th on 24 hour lighting. The EC from the tap water is at 0.4 so i am not going to start adding nutes for another week or so. I have to go out this weekend and find a small oscillating fan or something to get a breeze going over the babies.

Everything looks good so far though i think. 4 days under the floros.

Two Weeks Under Lights on 24hr Lighting.


I put the 4 SSH seedlings under the Mh light today, the seedlings have a few sets of leaves now so i thought it was time, lowered the light about a foot from the babies.




The plants were starting to turn a little bit of a lighter green so i started adding nutrients today, running at about 40% recomended strength for seedlings. PPM is at 250. Ph is sitting @ 5.9

The 13 God Bud seeds just came in today... finally... took 3 weeks. I cut a water bottle in half, and left a little bit of water in it and threw 6 seeds in. I had an old thermos that fit right over the bottle so i put the water bottle in a cabinet and put the thermos over top of it to make sure no light gets in.

Look forward to your godbud grow, I have 12 seeds somewhere in the world now.. been 28 days since order haha. Not sure if I'm missing it, but what kind of lighting will they be under during veg/flower?

Lighting: 250watt Mh for 2 mother plants, 2 2 foot T5 floro's for clones/seedlings, 400watt Hps to flower 4 plants at a time.

Air Circulation: 140 Cfm muffin fan, exchanges all the air in my cabinet twice a minute.

Growing Medium: Rockwool cubes and Hydroton

Nutes: Veg: Botanicare Pure Blend Pro grow + Botanicare Cal-Mag Flowering: (coming soon)

my camera has been out of order for the last couple weeks so i havent been able to update.



Anyways... the super silver has plants are 3 1/2 weeks into veg and are looking great, after the first 2 weeks the super silver haze started growing about 1/2 per day. My nutes were a little bit high, Ec was at .9, caused some minor burning on 2 plants and was a little more burning on the third.









I got the God Bud germinated on an its way. I just put the God Bud under the Mh light yesterday, i left them under the T5 Floro's for about 2 weeks, until they had a few sets of leaves on them.
