Super silver haze monster at 8 wks, can I cut off top?

My grow room has turned into the little shop of horrors. This ssh plant started 12/12 at 13", and now at week 8 is 6' tall. I gave her lucas formula & bushmaster. I had topped her 3 times very early as a seedling, so she is also about that wide as well. I've tied her up so she doesn't splay out and cover the rest of my plants, and to make things worse, she has a long way to go... there is no way this will be done in 10 weeks, buds are small. After reading up on others who have had to go 15 to 17 weeks on this, I'm ready to chop her in 1/2.

My other SSH is about the size of my other plants (3 to 3.5'). Different pheno. 3rd ssh is a runt that refused to grow more than 3" tall, so that has finally hit the compost heap. I'm desperate, ready to send this huge thing off too.. the tops have gone past the lights, there is nowhere to bend the tops down anymore.. should cut the top off or just leave the tops to grow to the ceiling without light?

You need to make a business decision. It sounds like this one got away from you and is affecting your other plants as well. It doesn't sound like this one is going to grow to 100% of it's potential and will in all likelihood hurt the yield of your other ladies. I say chop her back.

cut that bitch down as far as you dar, and stick her back into veg for 2-4 weeks..... then put her back into flower. it will shocck the hell out of her and slow her down, then when you are ready to flower again, you can manage her better. prolly wont get a good yield off of her but a great chance to learn a bit about the strain.

I say stick it outside , shit your at 8 weks, you cant have to much longer to go, then put plastic tomatoes on her branches and hell the neighbors will never know lol.

thanks guys, I donated her to a friend he was the one that wanted me to grow a sativa because he likes the high better. It took up his entire 6 foot closet. lol
