there 4200 lumen's and i know there 150 watts am just saying i think that too much to spend on a cfl for that you could save some money up and get a hps just try to show him something a little cheaper and still works great

Yah man you were ripped off hard, by a hydro company. Which does surprise me at all. It's just like any headshop. Everything is over priced.
You can go to your local wal-mart and pick those 150W bulbs up for under Twenty dollars..... never go back to that store man. Never. Jokes lol but watch out man everyone is not out to help you in stores like that. They are after profits. They love suckers. Not saying your a sucker, you proboly know what i mean.

Ok I could never find one this big at wal-mart or home depot.
*Light output= 10,000 lumens
* Energy used= 150 watts
* Incandescent equivalent= 400watts
*Color temp= 2700k
For 40$. I don't understand how I got ripped..

BenzoBoy I almost bought a pair of those ...

Ah yea you got ripped! Check these out these are 250 watters. The ones you have are called spiral cfl's and the largest size in spirals are 80 watts. These bad boys are U type. A 5U 150 watters are $30 and 8U 250's are $70. I made a reflector with four of them

By the way, see how your bulb uses a standard lamp base socket? the maximum wattage rating for the E26 lamp base socket is 100 watts, no lamp manufacturer will build any bulb in this size base over 100 watts
