Super Skunk & Afghan Kush 9 Plant CFL Grow

FLOWERING: WEEK 2

pH: 6.5 (Last Check was 03-23-10)

Temp: 80 F

Humid: 43 %

Nutrients:

Alaska Fish Emulsion(5-1-1)
Alaska Mor-Bloom (0-10-10)
MG Bloom Booster Foliar Feed (10-52-10)

Howdy, Green Thumbs. 2 Weeks are down, we only got 6 more to go, and I dont know bout yall but Im exited :hump: . The Afghan Kush are keepping up with the fast-flowering skunk. The skunks seem to have wider branching than the kush but thats ok. If they were any bigger Id have to get rid of some :-P.
Have not seen any HUGE changes since I started the foliar feed, but they are reacting by pointing towards the light a said in the Foliar Feeding thread I got the idea from but, Im almost sure they have always done that...anywho, Im stoned, lol.

Now that they have reached the 2 week mark, It Means they are ready to start takin in some extra nutes. Im also gonna start giving them molasses with every feeding to really fatten up the nugs. Although Its too early to tell, any guesses on end yield? I would Like each to yield about 15-20 g. each. I dont think thats asking too much. I have a few Pics now and will be posting more tomorrow explaining my foliar feeding and getting a better look at the developing buds. Thanx to all who are keeping up with the "girls" Happy Growing !:peace: :weed:

Fuck yeah bro. Lookin good. Question for ya. For flowering, when I start to that is. I'm gonna foiliar feed with the MG. But for soil feed I'm gonna give her 2 FoxFarm products. Tiger Bloom and Big Bloom plant food. I hear a lot of good about fish emulsion. (Need to get down to the bay and do some fishin.) Will it help, hinder or do nothing with the other two products? Also same with the molasses. Still learnin about that. Seems like peeps put it in no matter what fertz their usin. Thnx. Keep up the good work.

tiger and big bloom are 2 of the best. Make sure they enuff N for early and mid-flowering. And yea...you could make ur own fish emulsion, It has 5-1-1 in it meanig its good for veg and early flowering. Molasses is used as an extra source carbs and a source of K, both of which promote flowering ALOT ! Molasses is used mostly for organics growing but can be used anytime with any kind of nutes.

Cool. Thnx. gonna add them to my list of shit to git. Looked on the back of the bottles. Lol. Between the two products I should be good. But somethin to pay attention to for sure. Luckily where I buy my shit the guys know their stuff. He told me with low funds that was the way to go. Both bottles came out to like 25 bucks or so.

As promised, hers a few more pics. I guess this would be what you call soft core bud porn, lol. Also is a pic of my foliar feed mix. Enjoy...there is plenty more to come.

FLOWERING: WEEK 3

pH: 6.0

Temp: 79 F

Humid: 45%

Weeeee......Oh sorry...Im just excited. Man I luvs da chron. The girls are looking awesome, a bit crowded, but as long as I keep the humidity in check, I think they will do ok. I STILL HAVE A FEW GNATS :o.... I planned on getting sand to suffocate them but, I saw there numbers go down alot and thought I was safe. Then yesterday I found a good bit of them. I KILLED ALOT of them by just "clapping" them in the air and smoooshing them near a surface but, that shit is getting old. Also summer is right around the corner so the insects are going to be even more prevalent and my girls will be susceptible to attack.

Although, I did a little reading that said these little buggers only use a vary, vary tiny portion of plant resources and are tolerated in alot of pot gardens, typically full organics. I willing to deal, seeing as little things like not over watering and not letting water stand is a good way to control populations. Also Im going to Implement the old "Potato Trap" trick for any larvae, Which there should be judging by the number of adults (approx. 3-4 gnats per plant). Still doing the foliar feed mix, but not heavily, and I only mist the BOTTOM of the leaves. I will admit I got a little lazy with pics cuz I just got my CFLS positioned right and really dident fell Like moving them, but I hope they give you an Idea of what Im working with

As Far as the strains... The Afghan Kush seems like Its going to be a tad Dankier << (Its in the Dictionary, lol bongsmilie) than the Super Skunk. The Skunk is actually almost void of any real ambient smell until about the 5-6th week when it becomes almost unbearably harsh to the nostrils, whereas the Kush has been stankin since I popped the seed for the mother plant. She has noticeably more resin production than the Skunk, And at this point definitely has It FTW :hump: . The main aroma that sticks out, is of fresh, ripe Limes....mmmmmmm. If that taste and smell comes out after cure, her buds will be soon paired with a bottle of Corona.

Well Guys and Gals, Im out for now. Ill be doing more posting in here as well so It doesent become a ghost town. Love:hug:, Peace:peace: and Chicken Grease  !

I been good, Dawg. Yea the gnats suck, but gnats are really only detrimental to young seedlings and clones or If they get really bad like swarming all over the grow room. Btw, A potato trap is a easy way of detecting and getting rid of alot of larvae at once. You take a piece of peeled potato, about a 1 in x 1 in cubes or 2-3 inch wedges. Stick the cubes ALMOST flush into the soil and stick the wegdes in "blade" side down. Wait 48-72 hours then remove it. The gnat larvae LOVE potato and should be all over, in, and under the potato. Place another piece of potato in the place of the piece u just removed, then toss the old one away. Wait about two hours for the new piece to catch any stragglers and then toss that piece away as well.

FLOWERING: WEEK 4 8-)

pH: 6.0 I Hope :?

Temp: 78 F

Humid: 41 %

WHOOPTEE FUCKIN DOO, RIUppers Half way there, and now that I think back, It seems like only yesterday I was switching their timer back. Now they are all mature ladies :hump: I seriously dealt a blow to the Fungus Gnats BTW. Purchased some Ortho EcoSense Indoor Insect Killer. Supposedly all natural and safe enuff to drink. But the stuff is Soybean oil bases which I quickly found was not meant to be sprayed on thin branches, I lost a few lower buds....Granted these buds should have been pruned 2 weeks ago so I guess its like "meh". I now know to spray AROUND the plants and not on them Lesson learned.

The girls seems to be right on schedule, Aside from slight nute burn...ooops :-|... They are doing well. Tomorrow I gonna try and get some grandmas molasses to add during these last 4 weeks. OH, And there wont be any pics until later tonight, went Had a little too much blueberry vodka and apple gin last night and forgot my cam at the Homies house...Great fuckin time.

We got drunk and started doing Drunkin Parkour outside of his house.

"OK Dude, Off the brick wall, Onto the A/C Unit, Over the steps, and back onto the wall"

Needles to say there was hilarity to be had by all :dunce:. Later on I :spew: Into the bathtub.... Thats why I mostly stick to Lady Jane.

Anywho thanx to all those who been stickin wit me, we only a got lil more to go guys, Hang Tuff !! :peace:

FLOWERING: WEEK 5 :joint:

Temp:76 F

pH: 6.0

Humid: 36 %

ZOMG !!! The waiting game sooooooooo painful. especially when you dont have bud to smoke, but you have stankin frosty nugs in the grow room. My trimming hand has already started itching, Lol. BTW, Sry bout last week, I did not get my cam back from my friend until yesterday. Instead I took todays pic with my HTC Touch 2MP Camera. Not the best cam, but it doesent hae all the weird lighting issues my digi has. I need to just invest in a good cam.

The girls are looking a little ragged, due to all the leaf yellowing and what not, but the buds look awsome. I watered twice, as I do every week, only I dident give any "water only" during week 4, I wanted them to intake alot of nutes.

Ive got approximately 3 more waterings/feeding before the flush so Im gonna have to really stat making these babies yellow up soon becuz the fan leaves are still pretty green on the kush plants. Well, See you guys in about a week for the update. Enjoy these pics until then.
