Super Soil on ebay

Crab meal was a great move. I've been using it in my SuperSoil since last year. I add it for the high Chitin content. Chitin is a food source for specific chitin-eating bacteria. Why do we want this very specialized chitin-eating bacteria? I pre-inoculate my SS also. I use the predatory Nematodes and Mosquito Dunks. The combo of the two tests better than each working alone. Lab tested conclusion. I think Sub's pre-inoculation of Spinosad will work. Another consideration is a predatory fungus ([FONT=&amp]beauveria bassiana), however constant stirring of the soil [/FONT]would likely bust up the delicate fungus.

Chitin is also the primary component in the jaws of a lot of larvae we don't want. Gnats, etc. So because we fed the soil bacteria the Chitin in the crab, our soil is now teeming with them. As soon as the first pest larvae shows up, the bacteria completely eat its mandibles (jaw). Works great. I like to deploy an army of billions to protect my plants.

Just saw this thread. I bought 2 packages of the super soil concentrate of ebay. It was delivered yesterday. I need to add Roots and Worm casings.

My hydro shop doesn't even have half the shit that is needed and Amazon is charging a ton for the ingredients. I don't think it's a cheaper way to go, but I figured I would try it. I am sure in the future I will mix my own or actually I will probably buy sub's version.

This is really the answer. The formula's out there if you want to mix and acquire all the ingredients yourself, or just buy the pre-mixed starter and add Roots. Anyone's choice. What's wrong with that? Seems like a great idea and I'm not understanding some of the harsh posts from some.

I just re-read my post. Amazon isn't charging a ton for the ingredients, - I was pretty medicated and that is bad info. Those items on amazon and on ebay that I found all had high shipping and that increased the cost by a lot. I was just going to order it all anyway, but I found the listing on ebay while I was searching for a copy of sub's book of Dank. Why wouldn't I try it? I will post a thread of some grows with this Supersoil exactly the way they say and I will grow some TGA medical cannabis. The ingredients are listed and why in the hell would it not be good? Do people think this is a conspiracy by our government to ruin some plants or what? I was surprised by some of the haters as well. Flip side of that, is if this shit sucks I am going to tell everyone that will listen. lmao. I wanted to clear of my post of implying Amazon doesn't flat out kick ass.

Well, if we assume for a moment that this guy wants to keep selling, then he had better be mixing quality materials. And why WOULDN'T he just follow the recipe? If you buy these ingredients in bulk, you buy cheap. So no reason to scrimp. Give the people what you say and they'll be happy, come back and buy more. For those (like me) that want to build their own soils, groovy.

"2.5 lbs Pot Ash 0-0-30"

I wonder what, if any, difference it will make.

well I bought a bag yesterday to have it in time for May. Its $45and will suit my needs just fine. I dont have a shop nearby that carries all these ingredients without driving hours to get them. Nothing ventured nothing gained. I will buy Subs soil when its commercially ready

Also waiting on Subs Dank2.0 and a Bamboo shirt, probably going to be trolled for buying those as well huh?

Interesting question. I have 100% feedback which speaks alot about what I sell. It is designed for small growers to try 100% organic growing and if they like the results they can purchase all of the ingredients and make it themselves. If I tried to package all ingredients seperately I coud not fit them in the priotity mail box and shipping costs would be more. I have nothing to gain and everything to lose if I shorted or left out any ingredients. The recipe is there for anyone to make it themselves. Many people across the US do not have access to all the ingredients. I now have repeat customers that purchase the mix. Hope this helps.

now i checkd out the website but as far as i know it didnt appear to be affiliated with the attitude at all other then a few banners and whatnot so i dont know i am a little sketchy on it but i will buy a batch from this dude and will post the whole grow using this mix then we can see if it is truly legit or not and sure id feel much better buying from subcool but untill his stuff is available on the market i guess ill be stuck with this....

and to me this sounds like a shameful plug to some dush that is claiming to make super soil selling on flebay that I would put money on that 1/2 the shit is not in the mix...selling in garbage bags.

well then some one should do a side by side this guys mix and subcools mix with the same strain and everythin then we can truly see if its better or the same or worse...
