Hey guys! First post ever on this site and i thought i might as well show you all what im going to be working with for the next year or so. never done an indoor, only outdoor so im real excited about this!
Heres the specs of the box (free on the side of the road!) 21'' tall, 14'' wide and 8'' deep.
How it happened:
Took the speakers out and covered the big 12" hole with cardboard and glue.
Then framed in with 2x2 around where the back of the box will screw on with a couple drywall screws.
Bought 4 light holders ($4) and wired them up. 2 on the top, 2 on the side. Used 14-2 wire and then to a coil style extention cord to make it look fancy.
The next step was to make it reflective, i had thought of mylar, tinfoil, dynamat, but in the end since its a budget build i went off to wal mart and got a roll of "aluminum foil tape" for $8.
Total Cost: $15
3 Fans will be added in this week, i believe they are PC fans and one is from an xbox. The exhaust fans will be on the bottom and a single intake fan on the top. (speaker's should have holes drilled for tweeters that fit fans perfectly)
I plan to start my grow within a couple weeks. i still need to decide on the strain though, An autoflower is what i see in the future but i am still un decided. any suggestions? Something that does well with scrog and yields a fair amount is what im looking for.
