5 lbs a month? Multiple tents for perpetual a hydro system and multiple 1000w lights but I'm going to assume your a new grower 5 lbs a month will put you way over your head

Seriously not to be a dick but if your looking for 5 lbs a month you probably need like 15,000 watts of light (assuming HPS/MH).

An experienced grower could easily pull more than that but once again, not to be a dick, but it sounds like you arent super experienced.

I'd say start small for a bit, learn what you can, and when you know how to run like a 5x5 and 3x3 tent at the same time then you will know what you need to reach your goals.

Ill fig

Either way give it a few months. Start kinda small, find a few sick strains and clone them.

Once you know how to grow just a few clones of sick strains it really helps you understand how to mass scale it.

My point is; it would be a shame to drop 15k on eqipment to provide weak yields for 8-10 months, when you could spend 5k and have strong yields and give each plant more attention.

If you have the money sitting around to go at it anyways, just look at a ton of grows. Decide a pot size, decide lights (imo MH/HPS), decide on a soil or if your using hydro decide what hydro method, decide what nute brand, etc....

If you learn how to set it up all on your own I can say you will be more successfull right out the gate then if somebody set it up and had you let at it

For starting out i'd say stick with HID lights, HPS/MH. Get hortilux bulbs and digital ballasts, both cost considerably more than the cheapest out there but it will be well worth it.

Grow with the best eqipment, that way it makes issues easier to troubleshoot.

Watch Vader OG's videos; he answers a ton of great questions and his grow is a decent setup to model. For small grows DWC is nice, but at your size I think if you want hydro then flood and drain tables could be great. Vader OG uses flood and drain tables.

I've always used local hydro shops, often times if you are buying in bulk you can get good deals on gear as well as SOMETIMES quality advice on your setup; if it seems like they are up-selling you then go somewhere else. With the money you will be spending you deserve respect from your salesperson.

I've never ordered anything, but ordering your ballasts and lights are the only things i'd suggest unless you can find a competative bulk price at a hydro store.

Buying things at stores is nice cuz its 100000x easier to correct issues if you get products with issues with them; IE you get a bunk bulb or ballast.

I'd suggest either doing soil or flood/drain table with your size. Once you have experience and know whats up then go ahead and venture outside those methods.

Double ended HPS are also good if you have a lot of lights stacking up. for this look at Medicropper's grows.
