I'm growing the OG 18 and Mkage from that promo with now still in veg... next beans will be some Purple Berry Diesel and the 2 SSSDH

Hope they do well. My SSSDH went to shit 4 week into flower because my Mango Haze from mr.nice turn herm in week 3-4. The mango was flowering like normal then I noticed balls growing out below buds. So I took her/him out but was too late when I notice some bottom sacs opened up and thats all it takes and it will pollinate a whole grow.
This is somewhat my fault since I didn't check super close in those first crucial weeks. And also I've heard this strain doesn't have stable genetics but if you find a keeper in the 15pack its usually bomb. What also sucks with the mango that 3 that I popped 2 were male and 1 was herm. Hope the other 12 aren't like that.

But since SSSDH has been pollinated I notice it needs way more food since its making seeds I'm giving it some cheap nutes cause most of this will go to BHO cause this baby will have a lot of seeds I can tell. And I'm pissed and just want to start over.
Still have clones of both SSSDH and will attempt one other run in the future on this thread.

Here she is at about 9weeks a week ago and chopped yest. Buds are sativa like and not that big but I have to run this again without it getting pollinated to know its real potential also I slacked off on feeding since pollinated.
No smoke report yet still hanging. Smell is a fruity sour but also you can smell seeds which put off a diff. odor when some are still green. Most of this will go to hash except tops.
Gonna keep thread going for clones coming up and for the male that I have that's outdoor.

damn that's crazy, 9wks of hid for nothing. good thing you didn't take it to the recommended finishing time to find out it was pollinated.

If the smoke doesn't get me stoned then ya it was for nothing. But I doubt that. Ive had a quite a few plants get pollinated and still pack on bud weight and were killer smoke. Now the blueberrybubblegum I grew once that was for nothing(no trichs just hairs)

Here's the male that was outside. Already collected pollen and gonna save to make F2's and keep going up the line till I run out. I have about 2 cosmetic jars and pollen is folded up in paper and a dry pack with it.

Organic the breeder!!!....hell yeah....I want some of those beans!!!

Ya I could do that. The male was a insane growing speed small skinny leafs and bushy. The only thing I didn't like about it was that there were no trich's on him at all to pass that down for genetics. Also male was flowered outdoor under not the best conditions so wouldn't show much trich's anyway cause females will do the same outdoor in shitty weather.
Still gonna do some breeding with it since it came from same stock and the female SSSDH is bomb and everybody loves it minus the seeds but I have 2 more monsters of it vegging now getting ready for a vertical bulb grow first timer. Still gonna keep a clone of it though just in case.

Here's SSSDH up to date. The two big ones to left. Flipped on the 10th. Been reading up on painting on pollen so gonna make some F1's I believe?(don't know shit about breeding but read somewhat and still obv.) I have pollen saved from the male on last grow. I'm looking to make about 20 seeds and just keep picking out best mothers and using same pollen from first grow and go down the line. Anyway....

All organic tea feed in used to be Gnat infested FFoF soil and 5 gal fab pots.
1000w bare bulb hood but still have inline sucking heat out. With added 400cfm exhaust for room. Was gonna go vertical but got 2 busy with work thought this would do tipping light and doing a half a coliseum style. Still putting in reflective foam here and there.
Day temps 80deg to 77deg / Night 65deg. Just added a humidifier to keep temps lil better till it gets colder out.

how was the smell? sour hazy or both?

Both...at end of cure its a sour lemon smell.

Week 6 n 3 days. Last run was cut at week 9 but I can tell this is gonna be a bit shorter maybe week 8.


U can tell I had a overdose of N with a few leaves clawing. Blood meal worked awesome in veg but should have backed off completely before flowering and step up P. Soil plays a role too on what you use from what Ive done with ACT. For my recipe FFoF doesn't work the best for this strain. Pro-mix organic is a better mix esp for this. Amended soil is the way to go for sure if your able 2.
Also I vegged 2wks longer than I wanted to in a 5 gal fab. Still have some time yet. And had to step up feeding on P-K teas with little N which started I started on week 4 but should have done that sooner Guess I'll find out.

I've been battling N toxicity too.... got some bunk bags of FFOF....whack PH and way too fkn hot on the N....plants are finally starting to pull out......after this grow I am officially done with FFOF and soil all together I think....heading to the coco!!!

7weeks 2morrow. Took a sample nug yesterday and air drying should be dry enough 2morrow to try out.

I must of done something wrong when I collected pollen Because it didn't take. I know when you have seeds and these ladies have none. I went step by step on a couple threads for saving pollen but not sure whats up. Of coarse when I want seeds I don't get them and when I don't I get them HaHa gotta love it
