SuperSkunk Manifold

LST on almost every sprout, but they are still skinny so I didn't do much. Hopefully it'll take off after the transplant shock wears off. No telling how long this b%tch will be growing ;)

I re-rigged my lights to gain some height. Initially I just got rid of one of the wires so it is just one wire clipped on both ends to the light (on each end), and then hung them from the wire, instead of the loops at the ends. Since I just have the one plant in flower now, and 2 lights - BAM!

My plan was to just get some shorter fishing leaders to replace the ones on there, but this might be better.

Dropped my Northern Lights seed today, Checking to make sure the seeds are still viable, and just running skunks for the contest. I made the decision because I found my first semi-mature seed in an old skunk bud. No idea if it will pop, but that was a sign to go ahead and get started :)

I figure I have plenty of room to veg multiple plants, but the seed I dropped today and the pig-pot clone will be longer-veg. The contest plants are getting flipped quick. Might not even do the manifold, still debating since I need to burn seeds and get new ones :) . Some nutes or additives claim to do this or that, like more plentiful bud-sites, so pruning and LST might effect that, even if done the same on all plants, since they are getting different feeds.

Might be easier too, just plant them, feed them, let them grow, and get big fat tops. Might even drop an extra seed just to make sure I have 4.

Does anyone know the best temp to germinate seeds at on a seed-mat? This is my first time not using the cable box LOL

GDP clone has monster stalks. I have to water or feed every 2 days. It is only in a 2 gallon pot.

This was lights-out/flash/bad-focus pic of the other clones. The one in the 3gal was just repotted a few days ago, and I was going to wait until the transplant shock wore off to flip her. But it looks to me like all that bright green is new growth opening. This may be my daylight savings flower ;) If they look well-developed after a night in the light, they might flip tomorrow morning.

And this one will wait a bit to flip.

So I get that the time on my clock goes from 7-8, but my timer is still on old time. I'm thinking it will switch off an hour before 'new' 7 since it didn't switch.

Seems every time I consider flipping, I flip. I think it's the fact that there is still a month of growth left after you flip that has to be considered.

your timer will stay on same schedule it was always on, it dosent realize the time went ahead

so unless you change it , your new times are 8-8

My new time is 630-630...im not gonna mess with changing it, only 2 girls left in that tent now, hopefully within 2 weeks they will both be done aswell.

8 to 8 imo
You were right! I went ahead and gave everyone a short day. Wasn't worried about the veg room, but going an hour longer in mid-flower might be more detrimental than going an hour short. Something to think about come fall. I think I'd rather deal with 7's and 8's annually rather than the 6am thing.

The new flower room partners. On the right is the "daylight savings" flower. almost no veg so we'll see if it saves anything.

Since I will have multiple plants moving around, I put the basic info on the tags.
S - for start (seed wet or clone snipped.
X- for transplant from solo-cup. more X (if needed)
F-Flipped
P-First Pistil
B-First Brown Pistil

Success! Definitely NOT 24 hours later, but I don't know if it is 23 or 25 :) and don't care, 6 months in the fridge have done no harm.

The heat mat being at 75 seems to work. Little shot glass of water with 1ml h2o2 in it to add oxygen.

I put it in a domed tray that is on the mat so the thermocouple can control the mini environment, covered with a dark cup.

After 24-ish hours If I see the barest hint of a tail, it goes right into the rapid rooter and a cup of soil, then back into the dome and covered again. If not I dump the whole mess onto a paper towel and use that method until I see a tail.

A long tail is great, but if you break it you're done. I had one that got away from me and was about an inch long, so I pried the rooter open like a hotdog bun and laid it in. then made sure to pack the soil around it good to keep air out.

2 gallon pot. Damn. I heard clones didn't need big pots. I guess not. A little look under the skirt too ;)
I am impressed with the thickness of everything. Fan leaf stems, limbs, even the shoots are fat.

Looking at is space-wise, if I ditched the inner shoots and just had the 4-top I could easily fit 4-6 plants in the room. That means if I just let them Christmas tree, probably 6. This is helping me figure out what to do for the "competition". In truth, I have just never grown more than 2 seeds at a time. I have 3GDP and a dozen SSK I need to grow that are 6 months old. It was going to happen anyway. I'm even debating the clone/sog grow just because I don't want seeds crapping out on me. And I want to see some big fat top-cola ;)

On a different note, so far no two grows have smoked the same, or had the same effect, even though I only have 2 strains right now.

Daylight savings girl everything is still skinny and she has a bigger pot. Wonder how that will work. I am going to be up to my ears in skunk, and this was almost culled since I have the one in the 5 gallon so I figured why not?
