I tried cfl's in my beginning but switched over to hps. Im using a 600 and a 400 and im using cfl's for 2 of my mother plants that im going o use for cloning. This is my first grow and thanks for the comment on my grow!! Good luck!!

Man if that's your only plant I'd leave it alone. If you kill it from LST you're gonna be kicking yourself. Just my 2 cents though. Glad you finally got one though!!!

im being very careful with it but if you think i should leave it alone thats what ill do/ dont wanna fuck up my only plant

yea i was looking at 70w hps bulbs at kent they are 14.99 but do i need a different socket or can it go in a regular one. also im only growing in a fishtank stand atm so heat would be bad

so i still only have one plant but im amazed at how fast its growing. 3 days and the second set of fan leaves are already coming in

ok i have an update for anyone who is still following this journal. had to move my setup to a closet due to the lack of more than one plant(maximize yield with the one i have)i have topped her(recovered well) and she is wellon her way to being ready to be lstd into a scrog but ill probably her go till i find out that it is in fact a girl.anyways the little baby came up about 3 days ago but no actual fan leaves(probably stunted due to my nute filled soil. i hope to take 1 or 2 clones when she is old enough

another update. my main plant is growing like crazy since i topped and added a heavy duity computer fan(found one that plugs into the wall on its own).gonna try for another baby soon i think

LOOKING NICE MAN KEEP IT GOIN.. O you cant put a HID bulb into a regular socket, HPS requires like a capacitor and ignitor n ballast or somethin, It wont turn on without them..
