IMG_0252.jpgHas anyone used the Sure to Grow Hail Cubes? Seems like a good alternative to hydroton or heavy bulky mediums. I was thinking about using hail cubes in net pots as a medium OR possibly filling the entire bucket with hail cubes.and wanted to run 5 gallon buckets Ebb N Flow. Are 5 gal buckets too big? Would 3.5 gallon buckets be adequate ?

I liked them when I was using them. Just need to be sure you don't keep your water to level to high and keep them soaked. It might be best to put a layer of grow rocks on the bottom just in case. That's about the only thing really.

I'm going to order them. I'm trying to do an Ebb n Flow grow but without hydroton or a bulky medium. Rockwell gets water logged so I am trying an alternative method.! Hail cubes seem perfect!

Yah they should hold water for you for a while so that your not feeding a bunch of times. Only one way to find out. lol. I give just about anything a shot. Using straight perlite and grow stones nows.
