I can hear that subtle tone to your statement. Being poor doesn’t mean being ignorant. l was raised by my Grandma in Compton, on 1600.00 a month from her Nurse’s assistant job. We were poor but as a kid read every volume of her 3 sets of encyclopedias from the 50s, 60s and 70s. Knowledge is power and reading is fundamental. RIF. Remember those old commercials?
