So......... it's fine to let the evil, corrupt, "in the pocket" US "big" government have jurisdiction over content on radio but they have no right being involved in elections since they can't, won't be fair? Not that it isn't evident, but your arguments don't hold water GR. You just can't have all things your way.
When did I say it was fine to let corrupt US government have jurisdiction over content on radio?

And as an afterthought, can you name three successful liberal talk radio programs broadcast nation wide? And by successful I mean profitable, not in total agreeance with you.:mrgreen:
Randi Rhodes, Rachel Maddow, Stephine Miller, Mike Malloy, Richard Greene, Tom Hartman ... and the list goes on ...

Ahh, more enlightend political debate from the two-pound per light guy.

If I hear you right, and I think I do, you're espousing government control over free speech. Is that it? If not government control, then who will enforce the rules you want to make regarding "equal time?"

Vi
No I'm saying bring back the fairness doctrine ... the same people that enforce it before ...

The "people" who enforced it before were bureaucrats from the Federal Communications Commission ... a federal agency. In other words, GR ... what you are espousing is more federal government control over our lives, specifically control over free speech. Can't you see that?

I'm so tired of the old government control over our lives rhetorical bullshit, don't you have anything else to say?

No ... I see it as a level playing field for candidates and political discussion ... can't you see THAT ... it doesn't control free speech ... it encourages it ...

Sorry, but what you are espousing is government control over the free market of ideas.

Did I tell you guys how the Nv. caucases went? Here's a brief description: They were held in local gathering places such as the high school gymnasiun. After an hour and a half of caos, we were told to gather under our candidates banner and be counted. After the first count, the main players in the sham tried to convince people to change allegiance, and then there was a second Head count of the groups. The # was written down on a piece of scrap paper and handed off to some poll worker to transport to the main counting place, Like 35 for Obama-50 for hillary-20 for Edwards, Etc. Who's to say someone couldn't just change the #s to suit their agenda. I feel it was a terrible outing and I for one, would revert back to the primary voting of the past where you had all day to vote at your liesure from 8AM to 6PM.

So ... what do you expect from the Democrat Party, Med? Hell man, Democrats in Florida couldn't push a freakin' pin through a piece of paper properly.

That was not a political caucus, it was a numbers racket. And in Nevada! Whod-a-thunk-it?

Wisconsin Republicans are voting for Obama. They don't think anyone will vote the racially challenged into the white house.
