well all seeds that have germinated have cracked are in the dirt now all but 3 popped so I ended up with 12 unfortunately 3 got mushy for some reason? A lot of my seeds are old though so that could be a part of it so I have a total of nine in dirt right now, excluding the couple ''Mexican Kush" seeds I have, that I started soaking yesterday one cracked but no taproot yet. So so far 1 seedling hit the surface on the 20th and 3 more have hit surface today, and I can see the top of the seed on another so... so far 5/10. Four of them are Michigan medical marijuana, one has surfaced so far. the rest that are up right now are just from random bags over the last couple years. So this is a MichiMed/bagseed/possibly''Mex Kush" indoor-outdoor grow /breeding project. Anyone else ready for pictures?

Hell yeah! Sounds like a bunch of reefer I wish i had! Glad to hear you've decided to grow some more stable(and probably more potent) genetics. this should make things fun when you start your breeding. I've got a Canna Sutra seed for this summer, that I hope turns out male. If it does, I'm gonna' cut the whole plant into clones, and kill the father. I'm going to pick a couple of females to transplant the clones next to.

How are you breeding? Indoor? Outdoor? Breed your MichiMed with your Mex Kush. You can call it 'El Michigush'. Hahahah!

Sounds like your gonna' have your hands full, brother! When we gonna' see some pics? I'm going to see my ladies tonight, should have some pics up tonight... You gonna' have yours up? I wanna' see, man! Haha.

HA El Michigush that's a good one, unfortunately I have only 3 Mex Kush so my probability of finding a mother out of them is a little slim but not outside of probability so anything is possible. What does not come up can be replaced with what does of the MEXI K, I put Mexi KUsh in'' '' earlier because I doubt that is, actually what it is considering the uppy crazy ass mood it put me in, and Kushes are indicas producing a couchlock high, things just don't add up so I am thinking it could be a heavy sativa hybrid of what was kush at one point but I wont really know until its growing under my lights. I'm just really excited I have so much going on right now in my grow, good genetics good soil, good grow space. This is the first time I have really had all my ducks in a row before starting, and I cant wait to see what I can get. And yes Subtle I also will be putting up a ton of pics today.

Where I ended my last grow and where this one begins. With a good father, hes ugly but its not his fault its mine. I ran 132w of cfl in a Rubbermaid you couldn't even fit a cops dead body in but a lot of them are fat so I guess that Is a bad analogy, anyway I think you get the point. Besides that I had nothing to feed it but old MG bloom boost 10-52-10 and some Ortho Rose Pride slow release pellets 12-4-8. I ran nitrogen too high on account for it being slow release and not knowing the recommend dosage for a faster growing plant than a rose bush. And on top of that temps ran up to 90F. and i could only fight that with one measly 12v Comp fan so I think it looks good for what it endured so no hating on me or my daddy. I know what I did wrong and what to do better this time around.

this next set is of my new grow box/tent whatever you want to call it Its 7cu.ft and has 60-90cfm exhaust with passive intake from the front and back. It is constructed from an adjustable steel shelving unit 1/8'' thick oak paneling zip ties and Mylar. first off I did a ''dry'' (basically just set everything out the way I wanted but didn't attach anything) layout of all my parts and components measured top, bottom, and sides then cut panels to match all after this I drilled holes for zip ties to fit through. next step way to spray the side facing inward with 3m spray adhesive. The spray adhesive is how I attached the Mylar (survival blankets from wally world) I left excess mylar so that It could be stretched around to the back and taped down. the spray adhesive itself wont hold the mylar for some reason not all the way at least but it did help aid in creating a broken up reflection to prevent light burns which can occur with mirror flat mylar. I then attached the panels to the steel shelf/frame plugged in the fans and lights turned everything on and were good to go...

last pics are of my soil mix I might as well divulge the ingredients and qantities at this point as everything seems to be popping up quickly and as healthy as a horse. Okay I used 2 base soils Miracle Grow Organic Choice and cheap ass Hyponex it was 1.69$ for a bag fuck it right? I used both in my last grow without a problem. Anyway time to get to the point

2/3gal MGOC

1/3gal Hyponex I used because it was sandy and had some perlite that and it was cheap

1 1/2 cup of perlite to improve drainage and inhibit compaction

2oz of wood ash for ph buffer and potash

and 3/4 cup of something special called Espoma Bio-Tone Starter Plus. it contains tons of trace minerals and has mycorrhizae. I hope you all know what mycorrhizae is.

after I had my soil mixed and distributed I drowned 15 seeds. I kept them in plain water at room temp about 70-78f for 48hrs, or until they sunk. After this they go in between two sheets of damp paper towel until they crack open and show me there tails.

Well this is day 4 from when the first seedling popped through the dirt. things are not 100% where I wanted them to be Only 6 have made it through the dirt so far and 3 of the others those seeds went to mush also IDK Y? good thing I prepped some more back ups. Anyway the 6 that have made it so far are already about a inch and a half tall and working on the second set of leaves within 4 days pretty damn good I think.

Too many back ups lol now I have 12 oh well never hurts to have a couple extra. Only 6 days in now some are a few days ahead of course fuckers are going to get big fast I can tell already the 6 that were up now have 2 sets of leaves working on the third now time to bring up the watts some up to 173w from 149w.

nice nice!!! im pissed as fuck dude! i been waitin on my tax returns for fuckin ever and my federal should have come last week right. well i got a call the other day and its my tax guy askin wat my actual birth year was because he fuckin put 2010 instead of the right year!!! :wall::wall::wall::wall: lol oh well i guess i just have to wait a lil while longer lol at least i kno its gunna be comein!!!

Wow that's quite a mistake he made man, I wonder If the government paid tax man Gets drug tested? my guess is no.... Anyway for reference since you saw my last grow my plants look like my day 14 of last time but a lot healthier and its only day 7 now... way way ahead I think this Bio-tone is my new favorite weapon for growing. every plant I put it on seems to explode, My jalapenos are doing awesome too

Its for young plants but the npk is 4-3-3 I mixed it right into my soil for the seedlings and its going perfectly so far. but you were looking at hydro so I dunno if it would be something you could utilize.

dude If you cant use it in hydro which I believe you cannot hydro is supposed to be a sterile growing environment meaning no organisms in your reservoir just water and nutrients.

I would reconsider using hydro just because I have never gotten results like this, but then again I've never grown hydro. I have smoked hydro buds next to the organically grown homegrown shit. the home grown was better, smelled better tasted better. It still just looked like bud though.

hydro is expensive too although I'm sure I will go that way someday out of curiosity it has its benefits-fast growth and high yields but.... dirt is where I came from and in the end I will go in the dirt.

you do you though brah just some things to consider

yea man its still up in the air for me seein as im still waitin on my funds lol. i found this dude on ebay that sells complete hydro setups for $140 which includes a 150w hps, up to 8 plant res 10gal rubbermaid wit either a drip system, bubble system or ebb and flow setup wit nuts. 150hps is a lil small but hey its an hps and 140 for all that aint bad at all man and its got some other shit that you need so i think i may go that way but if i decide to go dirt, which i just might, ill prolly go wit a 250w hps instead. god i cant wait to get the show on the road lol! oh well tho patiences is a virtue lol
