Swab/Saliva Drug Test Information and Follow-up

I don't post here very much but I thought that this may be useful information to some of you- so here goes.

I have been offered a very promising position that pays very well (better than any job I've ever had actually) and they do pre-employment saliva/swab drug testing. I am a legal medical cannabis user. I smoke a LOT fucking of herb, and have for about six years.

When I found out that the company swab tests I started abstaining from my medicine. It has been nine days so far and I figure they will probably test me sometime Monday, which will make it more like thirteen days since I toked.

I am going to post my results when I get them. From the extensive internet research that I have done I have concluded that I will pass the test; as saliva/swab test are geared towards recent drug use, unlike hair follicle tests or urine analysis.

I have a fast metabolism and am a pretty skinny dude... so it should be fine; but without my herb I'm also a pretty paranoid dude- so cross your fingers for me and I will update when I know.

I know this may not be the appropriate place for this posting so any help from a mod is welcomed as far as moving the post. Also, please feel free to post any past experience or knowledge that you may have that may be helpful to someone facing a similar situation. This may be a post more appropriate for YaHooka rather than rollitup, but I only post here so... meh.

My test is today after I take my placement exam for college. Thirteen days without pot now!!! HOLY FUCK I CAN'T WAIT TO GET HOME AND GET BLAZED!!!

Congrats man! So you didnt use any kind of product to help you pass? You just stoped smokin for 2 weeks and passed?

That's true! No product used, just normal teeth brushing and abstinence from the green.

saliva swabs are great because they only test very recent usage (what business does a new employer have knowing what I did a few weeks ago?). If you abstained from smoking for 3 (usually 1-2) days you would have passed. As soon as it's been stored in fat, the only way to find it is in hair, urine, and blood.

And I'll take this opportunity to point out how dumb pre-employment screening is. Force people to not smoke when they aren't employed, but let them get as high as they want once they are working for you...
