SWC SOG.. Will this work?

Greetings RIU, I just picked up this tote to veg clones before transferring over to my 2x4 50 gal roughtote but was thinking, why not just flower in the smaller veg tote and scrap the whole roughtote idea? I'm aware I'll have to babysit it though I work from home so I'm able to give it the constant attention it would need for the smaller buffer with ph/ppm fluctuations.

Roots would have 4 inches of downward space to grow, though I'd be flowering 34 - skunk x c99 clones in this setup at a time. Would yields suffer compared to the same plant spacing in a dwc over a swc? My goal is 13-16g a plant, though I'm not sure if the lack of room for a sufficient root mass would make that goal feasible.

The only reason that I am considering this at this point is that I am unable to fill the roughtote full enough with water for the rooted clones. The sides of the tub are protruding at 3/4 full. I could ditch the dwc/bubbleponic idea and get a pond pump/manifold/sprayers in order to only need to run 1/3 the amount of water and overcome that problem, or I could just get 3 more of these smaller totes and get it in a perpetual setup, and save on water/nutes.

I gotta figure this out within the next few days before the roots take off and I need to flower.

When I used to dwc I grew 4 plants per tote.the problem I once had is,I lost a plant that was mature and once the roots went bad it killed the other 3 (4rootballs formed one big one.impossible to separate).
Just something to think about...

Dang. All I have planned for pathogen control is Aquashield, Sensizym, and keeping water temps down. Beyond that, I'm simply running Lucas formula with the addition of a SilicaBlast.

Bump for the day. I forgot to mention I'm running 3 large airstones. 130 views and no insight? Heck, if I could save on water and nutes, I'd be happy with 6-7g per plant, pending confirmation from someone with more experience than myself that it's a practical goal, otherwise I'm considering setting up my aeroflo36 again. (not the biggest fan of it.)

Bump, eff it, no credible responses within 36 hours, I'm just gonna do it and see how it turns out. If it end up bueno I'll make a journal out of the next round. Cheers guys.

Vegged for 5 days, here they are at day 3 flower. Next Sunday I'll be trimming up most of the side shoots to avoid crowding as much as possible. 11 per sq ft. A51 xgs-190 and a generic 300w LED panel over them at the moment. pretty much overkill but the generic led was just chillin in the corner so I thought "why not?"
