Well let me start off by saying I'm Swisha
this is my first official grow last grow I was roughly 4 years ago I was young and dumb and tried to ghetto grow but I had a grow going a month ago but my girlfriends ex's broke in and went threw all our stuff found my tent and threatened her so I had to destroy the plants and find another location so I'm back at it so enough with the sad part

Setup:
20x36x62 grow tent
250w hydro farm hood mh/hps capable
ventech 6' 400cfm inline fan with carbon filter combo (exhaust)
4' inline fan (intake)
4 23w actual 6.5k cfls

so today I put the seeds in the soil 75/25 FF ocean forest to happy frog mix

Seeds:
G13 Cinderella 99
G13 Gigabud
G13 White lavender
G13 Pineapple express

Just a quick snapshot I got on lunch gigabud didn't crack it was a freebie so oh well that's a picture of the c99 she's doing the best, the pe is doing well looks the same but a bit liter in color and the white lavender is about a inch with its husk still on.

So bad news dog bumped me while trying to carefully remove the pe's husk and I broke the stem so that got trashed also a freebie but I'm down to 2 plants I'm going to probably germ two more seeds. Humbolts Green Crack and Th seeds critical hog.

C99 3 days from being planted in soil

White lavender also 3 days

switched them to 18/6 also today

Update: so I put humboldt Green crack and Th seeds critical hog in a paper towel waiting for those to germ plants are looking good though trying to get a little stretch so I can plant them with a bit of the stem down under the dirt but there on 18/6 they get misted twice a day in the pictures I just misted them

Update: Green crack and critical hog placed in soil
Watered the sprout for the second time since being planted they still receive misting 2-3 times a day

WL really taking off compared to the c99 but that's above ground who knows what's going on below though

C99 slowed down a bit hopefully cause all her energy is going to root growth

Yeah woke up this morning to mist my plants before I go to work, and the green crack and critical hog have broke surface GC has no seed husk while CH does so excited to see there progress by this afternoon. Also I was planning to do a scrog but somehow bend the sides or make the screen run a little bit up the sides of my tent is that possible ? Has it been done ?

Update: so green crack has lifted herself up and opened up, critical hog has shed her husk on one side but is still laying on her side I'm sure by tomorrow she'll lift up.

18/6 I read a lot of side by sides etc and 18/6 is the best enough dark time for root growth and enough light to have rapid foliage growth.

Looking good! I've never been a fan of 24 hour light, plants need to rest just like we do. I learned how to grow from a book I found 15 years ago it was called, "How To Grow Marijuana Indoors Under Lights." It was an old book too from back in the 70's. One of the things I remember distinctly was that after the seed germinated make a small hole in the dirt with a pencil then place the seed into the hole with the tap root pointing UP. This will make the root curl down forming a knuckle or whatever and this is supposed to give the plant a stronger base. This is how I've always done it so I'm not sure if it makes a difference or not. But when I yank my plants that tap root always has that curl or knuckle they talked about in that old book.

I wish I still had that book there was a lot of good information in there :-(

Keep it up and let us know how they're doing in about a week.

Yeah I've read a lot of books and watched a lot of journals but some stuff is just by doing it, and that seems correct with the tap root up but I would think sometimes it wouldn't haven enough energy sometimes to break soil plus when I transplant I'll Barry the stem down to a little for support, and I'm doing daily updates tell 14 or so than I'll do weekly.
