Swiss Dream Auto CBD - Plant looks very small?

Hello friends,

I'm new here, as I am new to cannabis growing.
I acquired a Swiss Dream Auto seed, because I'm looking for a CBD plant, since I'm chronically ill and need pain relief asap.
This is my first plant, she's 53 days old, and I know she's not big enough for her age (only 11cm).
I have her indoors, in the place of my house where there's more natural light, which is the kitchen window. Some people told me she's small because she's not receiving enough light, but then all the other plants I have there are doing great (not cannabis, just regular house plants).
I guess cannabis need much more light than any other plant?

I water her every 2 - 3 days because it was what was recommended to me.
At this point I don't know what to do, some recommended me to get a LED light for her so I can save her, others told me to throw her away and get other seeds (I just won't do that, and can't). Then there's some that mention that is not the lack of light but nutrients.

So, can you wise people give me some precise advice?
Even if she's small, she is still growing and developing, just not as fast, so I want to do what I can for her.

Definitely get her under some kind of light other than the window sill which is causing it to grow very spindly. Some CFLs would be better than the sill and even the cheapest LED would be an improvement. Bookmark www.growweedeasy.com/basics and read as much as you can here and there.

In the meantime, you might want to transplant her into a much larger container.

Thanks for your reply! I will do that. How many hours should she be under the light?
Should I let her get natural light in the day, and put her under a LED in the night?

18 hours of light and 6 dark for vegetative growth and then 12/12 when you want to begin developing flowers.

At this rate, I'd get her under an LED and keep her there.

If its auto it can be left at 18 hours. I'd bury the plant a lot deeper in the ground as well, it will like that.

I have some plants that look like these in an area that receives a lot of indirect sunlight. These plants need an amount of direct sunlight that you almost can't accomplish with a window in a house. Its also not worth it to have to move a plant back and forth from space to space every day for 60+ days. Its nice to start them under a soft light set up and transfer them to a higher intensity light. Thats about as much as you want to have to move them around.

Its somewhat of an investment to grow quality medicine and its affordable to buy cbd bud online. If your not ready to invest in this realm of growing its something to think about. It does sounds like your sick and your not going to be able to provide medicine for yourself well without a good amount of experience and investing.

I'm growing for seed stock and my personal recreational smoke which how I can justify my expenses and patience. I dont grow much cbd or anything else I can find in a store for less effort, I've been trying to work a small amount of it into my program, I'd like to have some strains with a low percentage of cbd worked into them.

I totally understand what you mean. But I'm in a country in which I have no access to CBD or cannabis (guess why).
Also, eletricity here is extremely expensive.
I have thought on buying dry cannabis online; but in other hand how do I know if it has the amount of CBD that I need... I have no interest in THC, at least for now. And to order CBD oil online gets expensive for me where I live, specially because I need a strong dose.

That's why I took a jump of faith and got this seed from a trusted bank, and I know it's a plant with the right amount of CBD.
I confess I didn't know it was such a big investment, but even so I want to give it a try.
I have put her under a light for now, but how many Volts/Watts do I need for her?

And should I give her any nutrients (vitamins or fertilizer)? or leave her be?

cbd buds are lab tested to make sure they pass to be sold in the legal cbd market. When you are growing from seed there always a chance you will get a variation or phenotype that is higher in thc. It sounds like your options are limited, I'd almost suggest moving over investing in a grow set up that would make you more committed to a place that isn't serving you. I'm sorry it so difficult for you to get your medicine. If you could get a proven clone and grow photo instead of auto you would save on electric and variables.

By grow photo do you mean to grow a regular cannabis plant? that's a good idea. And if I could get a male and female plant and breed them myself even better, I guess, so I would always have some supplies. The problem is to find the right plants and genetics I think.

Thats a pretty big commitment; I was saying you wouldn't have to do any of that with photo period plants because you could cut clones or buy clones and keep good working or tested genetics around indefinitely.

I see. But in what does a clone differ from an auto? is it possible to grow it with just sunlight?

Your either keeping clones as a photo grower or making seeds as an auto grower if your trying to keep your own genetic stock / whatever you've invested in. Photo uses less light and I feel like keeping clones is more straight forward and easy to navigate in real time than breeding your own seed stocks which can be a real hand full.
