Switch from flouros to hps. When?

My seedlings are 2 weeks in and they are starting to show a lot of new growth. When can I switch from the 8 t5 flouros I have that are 2 feet long, to actually real 1000w hps lights?

yes you can. you might run the hps at 50% for a couple days to let the plant get used to the new color temps

Hey man, if it was me id wait a little long and veg out a little longer.. Maybe a week or so. Just let those bad boys get a little bigger under the t5's. Then bring out the bad boy.. but you can even go beasts route but I mean you can save electricity at this stage anyway and not lose growth.. IMHO

Id veg longer under the t5s. Maybe buy a small additional light to help finish veg and wait for 12/12 until you use the 1000. How many plants? What size space?

Sorry guys I already transplanted them to bigger pots then threw the hps on 1000w at about 5 feet away
