Is there a good way to switch my light cycle to being on during the day instead of night, without shocking them too bad?

Like spliffbazz said, you're probably better off changing it slowly over the course of a week or two, an hour or so at a time.

I had to change light hrs by 10 hrs, so I just shut them off for 24 hrs then back on for 12/12 at the time I wanted. I figure to them its like a 24 hrs storm passing by. Had 10 in bloom at 4 different stages, no problems.

Just switch it if vegging.. if you're flowering and worried about hermies extend dark 12 extra hours.....

I read somewhere that mj plants can only detect the amount of darkness they receive, and big variations in this can lead to hermies. Therefore, i would advise extending the light hours until your new off time, rather than extending the darkness hours.

Would it be worth it for me to do it? I run from 8am-8pm lights off. I've been able to keep the temps down during the day a lot more, but it seems like it might be better to have them on when the highest temps will be right?

If i did switch I could prob get lights out to 70-75 degress and lights on about 83-88 should i switch? Keep lights off 24 hours straight or leave them on 24 hours straight before change?

ur not going to get a hermie if its not a hermie to start with

u may be taliking about light poisoning witch forces female pollen to produce on a female plant.

definately extend ur night period 12 hours

So it would be a good idea for me to switch? Since my lights are on during hte night, sometimes its hotter when they are off

Or is it not gonna make much a difference? It would only affect the light off period by a few degrees
