Switching Nutrients Age Old grow

Never tried epsom salt before. I use cal-mag but I read about epsom salt and it says foliage spray. I want to use epsom salt for soil drench and I feed my plants with 4 gallons of water per plant how much would I use and do I use it with warm water or cold water without mixing it to my nutes right? I'm new to this epsom salt now that you mention using it.

Mix it in a cup of hot water first. Like 2 teaspoons per 4 gallons should be fine to start out with. I only use it if I feel I am getting a mag deficiency. Too much mag can/will lockout calcium

I am using age old grow this season. 5 mg per gallon or 1 tsp. it's okay I guess. My plants are healthy. No nutrient burn at all not once. But I would like to add I'm not super impressed. Although I'm not too disappointed. I'm just like whatever, I don't normally use nutrients anyways. I think most are overrated.

I don't think 1 tsp per gallon is enough it says 1 oz per gallon.
Maybe it's not enough. I don't know. But I do know it's not too much. Also 1tsp is what the guy at the hydro store told me so that's what I did. Maybe I'll try 1.5tsp next time I water and see what happens.

Vegetables & Flowers: Add 1 oz (2 Tbsp) per 1 gallon of water. Apply directly to soil once a week or spray on leaves.

This is on the label...I'd do this... once a week.

I have burned plants with epsom salt. More than once. If your plants are big enough then they should deal with it fine.

I'm just gonna go with calmag but I do have 2 plants that have broken branches more like half the plant is gone on each plant nearly almost lost the whole plant had to duct tape both of them and if I'm gonna try epsom salt it would be on them 2 plants.
