Switching to bloom lights

hi guys, when do I switch from mh to hps bloom lights?
Before or after stretch?
There seems to be different opinions.

What is best?

Any advice appreciated

unless you are growing autoflowers (which I know very little about), the "stretch" is another term for the preflower stage which happens after you switch the lights to 12/12 and when you switch to 12/12, you should have your hps light in. so,....basically what mongo frog said ha

Renfro is on the money. I also do mh "at least 1st week of flower" some times 2 depending on strain. Then I run super HPS dual spectrum, my girls seem to love wider spectrum.

ive never heard this before, but im not doubting it. damn, that knowledge would have came in handy as i would have liked to prevent some stretching this grow. will have to try next time? doesnt have any adverse effects,...everything still stays right on schedule, just less stretch with mh for the first week? thats a cool tip
