Switching to Jacks 20-20-20 and calnit. questions

Been using Maxigro for the past couple years as my base in my veg tent(coco with tap water @ .3ec ). Was really never 100% satisfied(who is) with the results. Plants never really got those deep green leaves. Always light. Looked great and grow fine, just feel they should be better. But being that Maxigro is ez to use and the price is with in my budget, I just kept with it.

So I just ordered some Jacks 20-20-20 and 5lbs of cal-nit. and am going to run that for a little while to see if I can get some better results. Before I switch completely..
I see most hydro nutes have 4-6% calcium. Can i just add 6% calnit to the 20-20-20 or is there a reason why it isn't included? Not even sure if adding 6+% by weight is the correct calculation anyways. Any input?

I do dose calmag(4mL/g), kelp(2mL/g) and florablend(4.5mL/g) with my base.

Any input would be cool. Thanks all.

In veg I do growmore 20-20-20, similar to jacks at 300-400ppm and another 200ppm of calnit.

Same in flower but I use 5-12-26 as base at 500ppm and 200 calnit..

Hope that helps.

Hey @jjlowe Thanks for the reply. 300 is what I too aim for in terms of my base. Are you in coco? How many tsp or grams of calnit do you use to get to those ppms?
