Yes Walmart, Petco / Petsmart do carry some. Mostly Zoo Med T5 bulbs.

The brands that everyone on here uses for PAR lighting is usually UV Lighting, Korallen-Zucht, ATI.

thanks all for the input. im going to prepare for when my T5 gets here. its been ordered and then ill decide what to do about the bulbs after a grow or two. PAR certainly is interesting but it might be too fancy.

Btw grampa , all these places that they are telling you are only 48 and 36" buls your lookin for 24" bulbs that you will have to order online, price can go up
