Synthetic THC

I was watching the national news a week or so ago and they were talking about a herb, being sold all over Texas as legal bud or as a potpourri. They said that it was sprayed with a synthetic THC and people were smoking it and getting high legally. They said it was being sold all over Texas, had a high comparable to a 12% to 14% THC and was completely legal in the US because the Synthetic THC wasn’t illegal.

So, what's the story on the synthetic THC? How is it made? Just wondering. Thanks, S

Yeah, if it's chemical based I wouldn't either. I didn't know if it was some new plant extract or something else. Thanks, S
